What are tips you have for flyers to get good heel stretches and hold a lib in extension? This is my second year cheering for my Jr.High and next year I plan to tryout for the high school team.
It's my first year cheering ...and I have the same problem...I can hold a heel stretch but struggle in lib extension with a single base😣

I really wanna be a cheerleader, I’ve wanted to do it since kindergarten when I first started but quit 3 years later. In 7th grade I tried out for 8th grade and didn’t make it, I am planning on trying out for highschool but am scared.

Haley Thompson IK I’m not her, but the best advice is pretty much the one that’s just repeated a bunch, which is stay tight (lock your knees, suck in your stomach, flex your thighs, tense your butt), and pretend almost like a string is drawing you up, because the worst thing is a flyer that isn’t tight, it just makes a stunt fall or look sloppy
