Though this guy Gopinath speaks well and I have watched his shows on TV I disagree on his segment. Motivating young people about money management is great but to discredit the hard work and skill of an entire industry is ridiculous.
Tiruppur was a poor dirt town with no infrastructure from the government. It was the sheer hard work of it's people that it has become a city which exports all over the world. Same with other cities in Tamil Nadu like Coimbatore and Sivakasi etc. The garment industry generates thousands of jobs every single day and each company is worth hundreds if not a few thousand crores in value. Of course those guys deserve to drive a BMW or Audi or Mercedes or whatever they like. I personally know an owner who drives his two wheeler and he is worth 1500 crores. Even if they do it for show or to impress buyers/clients or just because they like luxury cars it should not matter to any of us. It's their personal choice. His money his car. Many people all over Tamil Nadu buy luxury cars for show but to generalize a particular city or two and say all those guys in Tiruppur buy BMW's for show is jealousy and ignorance. Those BMW's are a byproduct of their hard work and skill. It's not like they woke up one morning and decided to go to Germany and buy a Mercedes to show off and drive up and down Avanashi road.
The young people of Tamil Nadu are brainwashed by fake heros like Ajit, Vijay and others like Gopinath and Seeman. These narcissists don't teach how to use critical thinking but to ridicule hard working people and their success. They want to play Robin hood on social media and promote hate against the successful. Not the rich but the successful and there is a difference between the two. The brainless 18 to 22 year olds who spend their parents hard earned money in watching and glorifying mindless movies like varisu and thunivu are the same ones who clap for this idiot Gopinath for talking bullshit. He should have told the youngsters to emulate the people of Tiruppur and not the other way around.
At the end of the day Gopinath will get paid for the talking he does and the Tiruppur guys will buy their next luxury car while the guys who sit in the audience will struggle to make ends meet and remain poor. As we become more of a capitalist society hard work and skill are the only way to the top. This fools problem is not people driving Ferraris it's ordinary Tamil people driving Ferraris and that is his problem and he calls himself the mentor for Tamil youth. This sense of entitlement that only big cities deserve luxury cars is regressive. Every year 2 or 3 accidents happen in Delhi NCR especially with speeding BMW's killing people but they are prevailed kids so it's ok. Thank God there are no accidents I heard of in Tiruppur or these guys will go to town banning the luxury car driving in this area. Actually there are no roads for those kinds of cars to zoom around us another matter. I would like to ask Gopinath why he thinks a Nayanthara deserves to drive an Audi but not an entrepreneur who creates jobs and works hard in a small town not only for himself but for the general good of the state and country.
Tiruppur and Coimbatore is built by people from all over Tamil Nadu. The Naidus, the kongu nadars, the mudaliars, gounders, marwadis from Rajasthan and other communities who were willing to work hard and create an industry without any help from the government. Every successful person in Coimbatore and Tiruppur would have apprenticed in a Naidu textile mill or foundry in the 70's and 80's. They didn't feel jealous of their success but emulated them. That is the spirit of this region. Dumb fucks like this guy who has no clue on how to start a business will lecture others on what to do or not do.
Why can't this guy ask the young people to not spend money on movies that promote nothing but narcissism? Their money management will be better served by saving those rupees. Why can't he preach Vijay and Ajit fans not to watch their flop movies multiple times just to boost the collections of their heros (zeros)? He won't because he belongs to that tribe of media/tv/movies business and he will not dare go against them. I started many businesses in the 90's and wasn't successful and failed being a first generation entrepreneur but what I learned from those times is that building a business is hard and lots of factors play into it. Most importantly expertise and skill in the area you operate. Until a person feels he has those two he can never succeed in a business. This is what young people need to be taught and not to ridicule or feel envy on others success.
So Gopinath, shut the fu$k up, his money his car. Rant over 😅😅😁😁😁🙏🙏🙏
