@@aj-ij7pd ever heard of the IWHBYD skull, it was named after him. He was present in the first three halos and even made appearances in reach and h4. His voice actor also voiced captain keyes. I have to laugh at the people squabbling over a lack of stealth in the comments here. This song here exemplifies what the game is at its absolute best: the feeling of being an unstoppable badass wearing armour that basically makes you a humanoid tank, charging right into the heart of battle and somehow surviving on pure stubbornness alone. There's a *reason* they're called "Spartans". The gameplay we do have is awesome, so stop wishing it could be something different and be happy, friends. n_n

It was a failed project to create super-soldiers. Then came ORION Project Generation II (SPARTAN-II Program) and after the II's came the SPARTAN-III program, which was a program to create cheap and expendable super-soldiers.
The Spartans of Sparta are part of humanity's history in the Halo universe.

Exactly, you never see that in any of the games, even in the off game Halo Wars. Though I will say that had the best cut scene in it with Spartans, the part where the Arbiter comes with the Elite guards. Epic.

The first Spartans you are on about were the orions. There were 300 and only roughly 13 survived the program. This was because Halsey didn't do enough in depth research.

chaingun? as in single barreled heavy machine gun? The wiki says it's got rotary cannons, which could mean ball joint mounted chain guns or a very large caliber minigun. but missile pods? It has one of those triple barreled miniguns inside the passenger bay. SO basically you were right
Yes. Absolutely. Camo is useful in multiplayer. There's no point in having it in campaign at all. Enemies don't use motion trackers and the fact that it fades as you attack and has a very limited duration means its pretty much useless against mobs of AI enemies. Its meant to get the jump on human players and to jam their radar. Personally, it doesn't need to be in campaign at all.

What I never got about halo was the lack of silencers...I mean come on, you gotta have something! Probably not even a silencer, just some futuristic thing, maybe a covenant sniper rilfe that doesn't blow your freakin arm off every time you shoot or melt half your body when it "reloads."
It does have the option for stealth, but in many areas it is impossible not due to the last of a mechanic, but because the mechanic was designed to not be very useful in areas with a lot of bad guys. Which is, most of the game...Yeah...
Nope. It can be used for combat support roles aswell, It already has a Chaingun and Missile Pods that come equipped with it.

I really think this theme is great, but I like ODST's "Rain" a bit more.
They need to seriously make a halo soundtrack collection with new maps for reach with new armour and such and no remixs just all th old classics from Combat evolved to reach and then have 2 bonus disks 1 with the new maps to download and the other one having bonus remixs and stuff. Anyway i think halo has one of the best selection of music besides starwars just real classic stuff

The only in-game spartan, there were some more like in the ending there were actually 3 Spartan-II's present (mentioned in one of the novels)

Lol I wasn't aware of all the comments about stealth and such my 7-month-old suggestion had caused until I came upon the video in a notification. Glad some other people also care about and wonder why there is not much stealth aspect, or at least not very immmersive stealth parts.

Around 0:33 and for a few seconds after I could hear the warthog, very fitting!
Nothing beats tearing up a bunch of covenant and wearing that guitar in the background, makes you feel more powerful and more bad ass. It's too bad Halo 4 didn't follow up on this, when playing CE:A, I just kept thinking "Oh man, Listen to that classic wicked Halo Music: Love it" However H4 did have it's good scores.
