Great video, it really helped me out, much appreciated! I don’t think the link to the seal is correct. I believe it is part #26-861694, not part number 26-861695. I ordered the on you posted and it was the wrong size. Again, thank you for making this video.
OH MAN!!! You're totally right. I am so sorry, I ordered seals and was thinking of doing the inner and outer seals, and put a link to the inner seal. Thanks so much for pointing that out, I have corrected it now.

Hi , I was wondering if you can help , I have a Bravo3 out drive myself and my mercury repair shop suggested me to replace the prop seal with a different part number 26-8M0033407 Is it the same part you replaced or different one ? Thanks
So from the looks of things, that seal is used on the Zeus pod drives and the Bravo X drives, I'm unsure of the compatibility but it is possible that it is a better seal. Next time I have a B3 apart, I'll pick up one of those seals and check if it fits, that may be a bit though, season is just getting started up this year!
You and me both! I know a lot of the Bravo X drive parts are considered an upgrade, but I'm not sure which ones are a direct swap and which ones would require other supporting parts to be changed. I'm very curious and also very confused.
I've got a 6 inch vise, It worked great, I have a smaller 4.5 inch as well and I think it would be just a hair too small in terms that the jaws may not open far enough, but it might be perfectly fine. I'd aim for around 5 or 6 inch jaw. You might be able do this without a vise at all, but iy would make for some crafty engineering to support stuff to drive the old seal out, it sure made it a breeze having a nice vise to hold everything to remove and reinstall the seal.

@@trythistv thanks now I’m more confused then before 🤣🤣

Hey love the video! What’s the size of the vise I need to have to complete the job? Thanks !

Will you be doing a video on replacing the inner seal?
If one comes into the shop that needs an inner seal, I will be making a video, but I don't specifically have it scheduled or planned anytime soon
Hello I have already bravo 3. Leaks like crazy after it sits a few days. What's best way to tell if it's outer or inner seal. Or can u even tell?
Pull the props off, and clean up as much oil as you can and see where it starts seeping and getting wet first when left overnight or for a couple days
@@trythistv great thank u!
Ever done an inner prop shaft seal?
Yes, but I did not film it, I can tell you it's not as easy as just the outer shaft seal.
