    Depending on your perspective - a lot of kiwis would say it's been all downhill since the late 60s.
    About 1986? The slippery slope is well underway.
    Some great nostalgia snippets from happier times.

      Bolger went on to decimate workers rights with the Employment Contracts Act in 1991. Leading to the virtual disintegration of unions and the beginning of the direct massive distance between wages and profits that we see today. Long before Helen Clarke became PM

      ​@@BradCollier-zn2ucdude he was elected as PM in 1990 and was in charge until 1997 when he was ousted by a coup and replaced by Jenny Shipley. Who then got her àss kicked by Helen Clarke in 1999. There wasn't even an election in 1995 bro
