The Mongols were also successfully fought by the Muslims at various points even after accepting Islam. Giving dawah does not necessitate letting go of jihad.

Yeah but they won a single skirmish and Muslims act as if they would ever have defeated a real mongol force. They simply got lucky the Khan died and the main army went home. Jihad is good if its real Jihad. But what we saw in say Iraq isn't real Jihad, its cowardly blowing yourself up and murdering civillians. Barley any US soldiers died in Iraq, it was mainly Sunnis murdering shia and shia murdering Sunnis.
The mongols were not fought by Muslims living in their empire but by foreign Muslim empires like Delhi sultanate and mamluk sultanate, the citizens of the mongols empire are the one that preached to the mongols

From a historical perspective the mongols converted simply because they started loosing the battles against Cham and Turks. They were afraid of being completely destroyed so they converted

Mongols used to believe in tengri and they were fierce warriors they saw how Muslims fought and they saw their civilization in which later they adopted
And by seeing that Muslims worship Allah SWT
They saw that it is similar to tengrism in which they worship the sky they saw that islam was way better and thus it was easy for them to accept it

This is literally the history of Islam. The Muslims were crushed militarily. Dawah converted their conquerers, they didn't win battles to stop them.

@@powerbuilder978 That's literally wrong though. Muslims defeated them in ain jalut and in other places. The ain jalut battle, specifically, was a devastating blow to the mongols to the point that they stopped their years of western expansion into the muslim world. You're ignorant of history.
Seems like the people of the "Tareeqa" are slow to lose hope in guiding the murderers of Muslims but fast in judging invaded Muslims and feeling superior to them.
Was it not the "Tareeqa" of Prophet Muhammad PPBUH to fight those who attempted to invade Madinah? Or was he one of those "anxious Muslims" who just didn't get it, while you do?
If you listened then you would notice that they had already been defeated at this point and were subjugated by the Mongols, of course they fought, but once they were defeated then they resorted to attempting to steer the Mongols in the direction of Islam.
@@maazkhan3202 Oh yes - the old trope of "Muslims don't listen, they just react", another way to give tareeqites a reason to feel superior as they "meditate".
Just because they were defeated doesn't mean they should give up on inflicting damage upon the enemy. But God forbid the tareeqites would feel like they are part of the ummah, that different factions complete each other, that we can work for the same goal using several permissible methods. Instead they belittle and despise the rest of us because they're so in love with their singular method.
Of course different people will have different approaches; that's just the nature of people. But you can have different mindsets in one household that still belong to the same family and that respect one another.

It is not the job of the laymen to fight when there are armies present to defend the Muslims, obviously as a last resort they can but once you have surrendered then you must submit in peace, it’s the simple logic of warfare, this has nothing do with “Tareeqites” feeling superior to other Muslims.
