I introduced my TD-3 arpeggiator in previous videos, here the Python script runs on a laptop using the miditech X2mini keyboard with TD-3-MO as pattern master and TD-3 as arpeggio slave.

excellent use of the tools at hand, Behringer are really treating us with the bang for buck with these units, bluebox probably costs more than the rest of the rig combined!

Wow this is absolutely amazing! I’m picking up my TD-3 tomorrow and that will make the trilogy for me so this was very inspiring for me. That reverb and delay sounds amazing from the Bbluebox and im wondering how much impact the little midi hub device has in the sound? Beautiful sounds, so lush and the perfect accompaniment from the RD-6, just very subtle and understated 👍👍👍

This is great, really enjoying your vids on the TD 3.
I watched the one where you first introduced your custom Arpeggiator, and was blown away by how well it works. I then got all excited as I thought I could use a Korg NTS-1 to MIDI out an Arp
…but it only does MIDI in! I’m a novice, is there a way that I could make it work just using the NTS-1 Audio Out, I’m guessing not?

Was sure the mo has distortion. But evem without it, it's a gem. Liked the solid combination 👌
it has overdrive, not as 'mad' as distortion.
Grab a MXR distortion + They are cheap

Thanks - I use the MO midi output to arpeggiate the td-3, I explained that in some previous td-3 arpeggiator video...

The MO suits perfect to the TD-3, the only weakness here ist the (analog) RD6, which has less punch than aas the (model) TR-06 from Roland.
To maximize punch you can process the rd-6 single outs (kick & snare)

Td-3 has no internal effects and no midi cc control capabilities, except for the MO where you can control the filter cutoff frequency.

Should I buy a volca nubass or a TD-3 MO?
If you want midi cc automation of parameters go for nubass, if you want usb backup of patterns go for MO, the sound is a matter of taste, I like both...
@@PeteMidi I don't really care about backing up patterns, but automation is important. Are there any other differences as far as features go?

Best way to sync two td-3s to a rd-6?
. Would one of those little splitters work? I was thinking Sync out of the RD six into those little star splitters Then one out into the TD three, and then another out into the other td-3. Or just midi out from rd-6 then into td-3. Out of td-3 into the other td-3?
The midi serial solution you indicate woks, both td-3 set to midi sync
