The Chevrolet Silverado 6500HD boasts a powerful and reliable Duramax 6.6L Turbo-diesel V8 engine and Allison 6-speed transmission giving you the power that you need to redefine your adventures. Increased water and fuel capacities, full 270-degree window views, optional washer/dryer unit, and a massive 18,000-watt lithium ion battery capacity ensure that you can maintain the comforts of home while taking in the view of even the furthest destinations.
These adventure vehicles have accumulated hundreds of thousands of miles on some of the world’s harshest roads and trails, and have spent tens of thousands of nights camping in every weather condition on Earth.
That’s got to be the nicest off road RV on the market. I live in Colorado where these magnificent machines are made. Love to have one, but we opted for a remote cabin a few years…..but it ain’t got no wheels!

In my opinion the videos’ metal music is not good. The truck hood sticks out like a big nose, an inefficient use of vehicle length so why not a Class A?
Awesome vehicle but I would make a couple changes I would make the two side windows on top a little longer put a small bathroom window on the other side, make the door window just a tad wider , so when I hit the lotto, I’ll be calling you guys lol 😂
Looks awesome but some of it's off the beaten track capabilities means that I personally would have to either have another vehicle along or pull a trailer with additional gear (probabbly both). Having only one spare tire is inviting problems once you get far enough away from roads and while the 16.5k winches sounds beefy that is before you take in the sheer mass of a 6500 with all of this heaped on top. Everything I know about getting a vehicle out of that mire that it has sunken into says that you should have a winch rated to at least 1.5 times the weight of the vehicle it's attached to and there is no way a 16.5k one meets that criteria with this beast. I could double line it sure but that cuts the possible distance to that quite frankly extremely sturdy anchor point thats needed neatly in half. If on the other hand you're fine with just taking it on dirt roads and some light excursions right next to said trails I'm sure it's excellent.

It's a cool idea, but they are way to expensive for what they are in the end, not to mention a list of shortcomings, I just can not see how the price can be justified ...

The entry door is too damn skinny! needs to be 32" wide minimum for us 200LB+ people, you ever try to carry arms full of gear into a camper with a skinny door? not good.

Can a truck this size really go anywhere? It might be capable but its SIZE is one giant limiting factor. Not every place can simply be conquered by adding 4x4

Can someone explain why this type of vehicle costing this much is 2WD? I'm just trying to understand if they advertise as a off road vehicle that can go anywhere, wouldn't you want it to be 4x4? I am genuinely curious. It's a beautiful vehicle.
It is 100% 4WD and intended to be off road.
all expedition vehicle cost from 500 to 2 mil, they are expensive because it is very difficult to build.

This exact setup but on a ford f450/550 with harrop supercharged 7.4l Godzilla gas motor. (No cold start worries or finding/storing def fluid) and painted in a light grey color that isn’t so neon bright and will not heat up in sunlight. But ya….on the nose gentlemen. On the nose.

I can’t figure out how anyone will be using the grill off the back in any practical way without hauling a stepladder. All these overland vehicles come with a cooking area that’s 5 ft off the ground.

You can have a bike mount fitted at the rear. (Instead of the Pelican box.)

For some reason, I mainly think price… But I am put in an weird off feeling with EarthRoamers… It feels OD, more of a pavement camper than an off road camper. I dunno man, something doesn’t sit right. It feels too much without being anything. I dunno if anyone feels this way, but I do. And shut your face, I’m as entitled as you.
