I’m a furry at the moment my fursuit is a fox and I have a dino mask I can’t really do the fursuit right now because it’s so hot, but the dino mask I do sometimes plus I made it by myself and it’s my first I’m also new to being a furry so yeah.
So…can you all (as in people who know about this stuff better than I do) help me with something? I’m trying to figure out what exactly I am. So I have a *lot* of cat-like tendencies, most of which come from the fact that my parents were busy with work all the time, so I spent most of my childhood just hanging out with the family’s cats and I picked up lots of habits/mannerisms from them. I also have a lot of purring, trilling, meowing, and (as of recent) howling vocal stims. I also have a wagging stim where I wag my tail (if I have one), wag my hips if I’m standing, or I wag my leg if I’m laying down (sounds weird, but it’s just a thing I’ve almost always done). I also tend to wear cat paw gloves, cat paw socks, cat ear headbands, and cat tail belts. There is one thing that makes me unsure about being a therian though…I don’t exactly feel like I *am* an animal. I definitely love the idea of being an animal (especially something feline) and am happy with the thought of being a cat (or maybe some form of animal in general), but I don’t truly believe that I *am* one, I just feel like I really *wish* I was one, so…I don’t know if that counts as being a therian? I’d say maybe more like a pet regressor but even then I’m unsure. I am a part of the furry fandom, but I don’t feel as disconnected from the idea of being an animal as most other furries. I also feel an oddly strong connection to nature, despite not being able to be in nature very often (my brain makes go home bc paranoia, or I overheat, or get out of breath, or get bit by bugs) [my connection to nature could be a witchy thing though bc me and my mom practice witchcraft (the safe, non-harmful kind)] I do on extremely rare occasions feel pretty animal-like, and this feeling is a bit more common when I’m age regressed (the non-k*nk age regression), but even then I sometimes lose that mindset when I think too hard about it (that may just be my mind’s conditioned reaction due to bullying about it though, bc it was more common when I was a child). Can anyone help me figure this out? (Also sorry for the long paragraph, I just want the most accurate information, so I figured I’d try and explain my situation well)
Well as you may know bieng a therian is something you cant choose to be, but I think I understand your situation. It sounds like you have a strong connection to cats and nature (Specifically domestic cats) and especially with your actions that relate to cats or other animals it could be a possibility. I also noticed you said you were happy with the thought of bieng a cat, which sounds like something that a therian may think, because there are many therians ive noticed who are very happy when they imagine bieng an animal. You also said you dont feel like you really are an animal which means you might be spiritually connected to one since you don't feel a physical connection to an animal. I am assuming you are a therian but I will have to look it up, i will be back to reply.

You can do quad's, just watch tutorial's on how too, jump, walk, run, and trot, it's pretty easy when you get the hang of it!

I’m a furry at the moment my fursuit is a fox and I have a dino mask I can’t really do the fursuit right now because it’s so hot, but the dino mask I do sometimes plus I made it by myself and it’s my first I’m also new to being a furry so yeah.

So…can you all (as in people who know about this stuff better than I do) help me with something? I’m trying to figure out what exactly I am. So I have a *lot* of cat-like tendencies, most of which come from the fact that my parents were busy with work all the time, so I spent most of my childhood just hanging out with the family’s cats and I picked up lots of habits/mannerisms from them. I also have a lot of purring, trilling, meowing, and (as of recent) howling vocal stims. I also have a wagging stim where I wag my tail (if I have one), wag my hips if I’m standing, or I wag my leg if I’m laying down (sounds weird, but it’s just a thing I’ve almost always done). I also tend to wear cat paw gloves, cat paw socks, cat ear headbands, and cat tail belts. There is one thing that makes me unsure about being a therian though…I don’t exactly feel like I *am* an animal. I definitely love the idea of being an animal (especially something feline) and am happy with the thought of being a cat (or maybe some form of animal in general), but I don’t truly believe that I *am* one, I just feel like I really *wish* I was one, so…I don’t know if that counts as being a therian? I’d say maybe more like a pet regressor but even then I’m unsure. I am a part of the furry fandom, but I don’t feel as disconnected from the idea of being an animal as most other furries. I also feel an oddly strong connection to nature, despite not being able to be in nature very often (my brain makes go home bc paranoia, or I overheat, or get out of breath, or get bit by bugs) [my connection to nature could be a witchy thing though bc me and my mom practice witchcraft (the safe, non-harmful kind)] I do on extremely rare occasions feel pretty animal-like, and this feeling is a bit more common when I’m age regressed (the non-k*nk age regression), but even then I sometimes lose that mindset when I think too hard about it (that may just be my mind’s conditioned reaction due to bullying about it though, bc it was more common when I was a child). Can anyone help me figure this out? (Also sorry for the long paragraph, I just want the most accurate information, so I figured I’d try and explain my situation well)
Well as you may know bieng a therian is something you cant choose to be, but I think I understand your situation. It sounds like you have a strong connection to cats and nature (Specifically domestic cats) and especially with your actions that relate to cats or other animals it could be a possibility. I also noticed you said you were happy with the thought of bieng a cat, which sounds like something that a therian may think, because there are many therians ive noticed who are very happy when they imagine bieng an animal. You also said you dont feel like you really are an animal which means you might be spiritually connected to one since you don't feel a physical connection to an animal. I am assuming you are a therian but I will have to look it up, i will be back to reply.
Im pretty sure you might be a some type of forest cat but I'm not sure, I recommend watching a video on finding your theriotype.
