    I don't think her continuing to work in the industry takes away from what she wants to say. If she quits her job, they're just going to replace her with another thin white girl, no one will benefit except maybe her from not having the guilt of being called a hypocrite. She can do more from the inside to try to change some people's perceptions.

    She doesn't hate modelling, she hates what it promotes. Cameron hates the idea that she herself is viewed and idolized over factors she has no control over. The fashion its self is a form of artistry and its a wonderful and creative field. She is a model and is used as a canvas for designers, photographers, make-up artists, and is a construction. Yet people go wow SHE looks beautiful.

Fashion isn't evil, it is what as a society we have made the fashion industry into. Fashion itself is an art form. It's creative, fun, and beautiful, so don't judge her for speaking out about the evils of the industry but continuing to love fashion for what it is, art.

I drank tea in the mornings, and ate vegan meals in the afternoons all still while going to the gym. By the end of the third week I thought my heart was going to frickin explode! Pretty women want to be valued for their brains; smart women want to be told that they're beautiful. Nobody's ever happy with what they have. There's a reason why appearance is so important for women; because for 99% of our existance, males had only that to go on to determine the best possible female to mate with to increase the odds that she would be healthy and fertile, and pass along his dna line. And it's hard to de-program evolution, so trying to get men to ignore appearance isn't going to work anytime soon. Yes, we do weigh in other things besides appearance, but if there's anything about you that turns us off sexually, game over.

    • @shanenoel1270
      @shanenoel1270 Před 9 lety +5

      Deb B Deb - You are so on point. Men and their ideas of who's beautiful and who is not create the madness that women deal with almost every day of their lives. Men take looks into consideration when looking for a mate. A lot of them want a trophy when most of the time the man is not. I think that women are more forgiving when choosing a mate. That's why we've seen gorgeous women like Sophia Loren, married to not so attractive men. Many women will marry for things that go a lot deeper than the outward appearance.

    • @d.e.b.b5788
      @d.e.b.b5788 Před 9 lety +2

      Shane Noel You make the same mistake that lots of women do. Men don't go out looking for girls as 'trophies'. We go out looking for hot women to have sex with. If other guys or girls think she's hot, fine. But it's not the prime consideration, not even close. Women coined the term 'trophy wife'. Because women use their husbands as trophies. Virtually every woman will at some point refer to attracting a guy as 'catching a good one' in reference to getting a guy to marry her. Women derive a lot of their sense of worth both to herself and her girlfriends based on the status of her male mate. Guys derive most of their status by their accomplishments and assets. A woman who marries a rich man is a successful woman to her peers. A man who marries a rich woman is a gigilo and gets no respect from other men..

    • @shanenoel1270
      @shanenoel1270 Před 9 lety +7

      Deb B Ok. So I beg to differ. I don't think women make any mistake about the fact that men want a trophy. Doesn't really matter were the word derived from. Trophy pretty much means hot....they're synonymous. I think going out to look for hot women to have sex with equals trophy. A trophy is given to someone for their "accomplishments". You said guys derive most of their status by their accomplishments did you not? Having sex with a hot women, to men anyway, is an accomplishment is it not? Most men will not go out and pick up an Olive Oil type to have sex with. I have brothers and I'm around men all of the time. hear their conversations. They will bypass a mediocre women and go straight for the gusto.
      Also, I personally don't view women that marry men for money, as successful. Far from it. I view her as a gold digger. I would never refer to a successful woman and gold digger in the same breath. A successful woman to me means, being able to stand against the odds and push through all the drama. I work around successful, talented women every day and guess what? Not one of them is married to a rich man. A successful woman, or anyone for that matter is like the
      cream that always rises to the top. Being married to a rich man for monetary gain does not, to me, equal success! That's just my opinion.

      giocurve The reason that fashion designers use white girls as their models, is because their predominant market is affluent white women. So they use white models so as to get their customer base to fantasize that they too will look like the models do in the clothes. For James Louis, when the fashion designers aim for a market of mainly black women, then you'll see more black models. If you look to India, you'll see Indian female models modeling their clothes, because that's the market they're targeting.

    She obviously isn't THAT intelligent, otherwise she would realize how absurd her mission is.

    Biting the hand that has fed her. If she feels it is so superficial then she should try another profession.

    Of course its all about naturally beautiful. IQ has nothing to do. I don't understand why people beauty with some intelligence and in interviews looks are given importance. Such a mismatch.

    Her entire career is based on her look. Beauty can be great in life if you just want to be above average but if you want to go above and beyond, it is all the brain.
