Amari doesn't want to drop down to the Championship apparently, it's a real shame that deal hasn't happened.

Paintsil and Amari following Rodon, Ampadu, Byram, Darlow and Piroe through the door would have been beyond my wildest expectations a few weeks ago. Daniel Farke must be a great draw for these players and to beat other clubs like Southampton to some of these signatures is a great turnaround from the rumoured expected mass exodus a short time ago.
It is all about the money. None of these players are taking a pay cut to come to Leeds.
Yeeeessss Conor - we are starting to cook! Hopefully we add Paintsil to the mix, he could be worth much more in a years time! Get this and Ameri over the line, and then hopefully we can add a CM and LB!

Piroe is good - but there's a reason no-one in the Prem wanted him. A good Championship striker. The Belgian A Division is about Championship level too, and Paintsil has been okay for Genk when not injured and has often, but not always, started recently. These two will help the squad. They will not, themselves, be the keys that unlock promotion.

We also need to get Nat Philips in defence - he will be a man-mountain at the back, and won't be too much money.
