My wife had cancer twice. The last was cancer of the liver. I was so desperate for her that I told her surgeon to remove my liver and transplant it in her since we were the same blood type. He was incredulous toward me but I meant it. I watched her helplessly go through the ravages of chemo therapy, but miraculously she recovered and is now cancer free. I would gladly give my life for her I love her that much. This guy who says he was used is nothing but a swine. He should have held her hand and loved her!

Exactly, when you get divorced it’s a long and arduous process. He was afraid he’d lose that consistency of having a home, someone who loves him and kids who look up to him. But because you decided to cheat instead did getting a divorce, now it’s more than likely if you get a divorce now, she gets the kids and a good majority of your money because the court sees you being a bad influence.

There's a whole lot more that we didn't see and don't know - that's obvious. He's a cheater but his wife needs some serious help and I'm surprised Dr Phil didn't address it. Chelsea started to get into it but Dr Phil just glossed over it. Cancer is just awful, but it doesn't give current bad behavior a free pass. She sat on stage - husband aside - and didn't own any of her own immature and rotten behavior/attitude. She's punishing the other woman because the husband can't be - he feels nothing. And she needs her pound of flesh wherever she can get it. That says something about her. He's allowing it because it's a manipulation tactic because he'd rather the attention be off of him so he'll fake hes on her "team". But in his private interview, he acknowledges the harassment of Chelsea should stop. He likes Chelsea deep down and knows she's a decent person that he dragged into his dysfunctional marriage. My observation is that he has more empathy for Chelsea than his wife. The marriage is over and although Dr Phil didn't tell her that, he hinted it wasn't likely to succeed. He rattled off everything the husband is doing that shows it isn't working and told her twice - short-term pain now, or YEARS of it - it's a choice. They need a divorce. I believe his wife isn't an innocent party in the demise of the marriage IMO, judging by the behavior - and he most definitely isn't. She laughed when Chelsea said who asks for divorce papers in a bar. But Chelsea is right- there's an element of blind trust. Does the wife ask him to photograph himself wherever he is at when he's out? And if you do - it's over. But "only" the wife can be a victim in her story. Blasting dirty laundry on social media is unhealthy, there's no shame there obviously, and it NEVER works the way the poster thinks it will. It reflects just as poorly on the character of the poster as the person being "reported". Any future love interest will take note of that part of her personality and weigh the pros and cons of being in a relationship with someone who does that.
Dr Phil is supposed to be big on healing and he never encouraged her to let it go. Let the mouse go! He's usually the first to warn ppl about the ramifications of defaming or harassing others but he let it ttly slide here. The couple is toxic and both get some sick enjoyment from staying stuck in the infidelity, stuck harassing the women he lied to, (he still wanted ties to the other woman), stuck in the attention, stuck in the victim role - ANYTHING rather than just MOVE ON. Maybe the wife was once a different person and the marriage has driven her crazy but it's a choice to stay. It's not a good look. Honey... let go. Save yourself. And let this other woman who also has mouths to feed, move on. She gave you the proof you wanted and had no obligation to do so - so stop trying to weaponize it against her. I don't agree with cheating in a marriage of course but they weren't dealing with the problem. A sexless marriage is a marriage without love. You're technically married but it sounds like she wasn't sharing ANY love with him. He mentions things like holding hands was missing! He looks really sad describing it. She's getting what she wants but he's not. Yet she's just expecting him to go on forever like that?!? That's miserable. Cancer survivors can hold hands, be loving and do other intimate activities if they don't actually feel like intercourse.
