this is exactly what I have been doing, nothing but scalping only on gaining 10c a trade. buy at least 10000 shares, sell at 10 cents, make 1000 dollars, and walk away. but be mindful of going down, that will be quick as well, so be careful.

Thanks for the info!...got a quick question. on direct access routing, to get rebates, i would need to purchase on the ask or the bid? AND if i want to go agresive on a volitile stock, i would need to buy from the ask right? or the bid? or market order? sometimes i go in with limit on the bid and never gets filled...

I'm surprised you don't show the after-market on your charts. That's why the stock appears to have gapped up -- but in reality, it actually moved up gradually after 4pm the night before

Would I be right in saying though, that when scalping like this you would need a higher winning rate because you still have to put in a realistic stop but you are taking chunks out of the position very early, surely that makes these trades have a 1:1 risk ratio or thereabouts?

scalper as well! great explanation! i did like the analogy of the bus stops hhh you have to define exits and entry! if you are greedy you will get wiped my personal timeframe 1m/3m/5m but the 3m for me is the storyteller in conjunction with the buying and selling pressure momentum and the scale on the level 2 time scale (big fish makes big ripple cant be unpredictable small fish = predictable direction at least in what I did notice )

Wha on earth does "we're long" mean?
Having a “long” position in a security means that you own the security. A "short" position is generally the sale of a stock you do not own. Investors who sell short believe the price of the stock will decrease in value. If the price drops, you can buy the stock at the lower price and make a profit.

Is there an even more beginner intro to all this? Like a kids’ version of scalping. Still don’t know what a lot means, like “level”, “stop order”, “entry”, “exit”, and many more terms. What do the little red and green arrows mean? How do people get past this phase that I’m in of complete ignorance?? So frustrating. It’s almost like a club I’m trying to figure out the password to get into.
Here’s a clear point of where I’m at:
I see a graph that seems to show the value of something and that value changing up and down. After that…blah blah blah in another language.
Well, you have a variety of trading methods, some are very rewarding, some are very risky, some are very difficult to use, etc... And scalping is I think the hardest and the most profitable. But if you want to learn about trading watching a scalping video will make you more afraid of the trading world. You should start with basic concepts video like how the market works for example.

I think so. Try to take profit 2 or 3 times and exercise your exit too.
