Part One: Our dear friend and esteemed guest teacher Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo tenzinpalmo.com... very graciously agreed to give a public talk on this day, entitled "Thinking Outside the Box" (definition: "To think differently, unconventionally, or from a new perspective"). Around 300 people attended this 2 hour talk, many sitting outside because the Gompa was filled to capacity - and then some! Another amazing talk.

A wonderful reminder to "think outside of the box," using our best qualities of mind--thoughtfulness, freshness, focus. Too often our Western culture associates thinking outside of the box with having a wild mind. Thank you Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo for such a thoughtful and insightful teaching.

Excellent talk given by Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo. The Dharma is the elixir we should drink, not the culture of the Lama. At least that is my understanding. Though the culture of the Lama is to be respected, the Dharma is to be cherished and practiced.
