I feel bad for Joke because he’s literally been the only one putting in effort in this relationship, even before Zo’s dad’s health issues. Idk. Very one sided.

I'm just glad Zo shows his love at times.
Taking communication out of the equation, Joke is always trying to make Zo smile. Although I don't like it how he asks him to smile instead of doing smt to cause it.
But I've yet to see a scene where Zo asks how he's doing. Zos part are minimal. Like giving him a heart for his birthday, defending him with Wave and letting him peek him when he wants. That's good and all. But it's all either after persuasion or behind the scenes.
Also if u gave me a wooden heart I'd expect with sharpie the initials. The glass mugs were never even fixed or remade. Joke gives him juice and a plushie. It feels unbalanced!

Well, Zo was supposed to know it from the beginning, not to wait for his mother to make him see that .. The plot at the end started to not make any sense somehow

I can’t believe that after his mother told him, “Besides our family, who’s always had your back?” Zo really took a moment to realize it’s Joke, like for real? I just can’t believe this 😞 and suddenly he saw the light :/ Joke has been there all along and he can’t see it right away? Did he need his mom to ask him that to realize it was Joke? 🙄

I took it as Zo finally realizing he can TRUST Joke to be there. Joke pretty much shoved Zo into their relationship so Zo was always the weary one - this moment was him realizing that maybe it wouldn't be so bad to just let things happen and stop trying to protect himself
I was sitting here like this 😑. And I actually wish Joke had left the hospital. Zo was pushing him away so much I wish Zo had felt the effect of that.
I understand Zo not thinking rationally out of concern and be a bit far from Joke without totally realising it, but this was a bit to much like, my dude, open your eyes, Joke has always been there for you how can you only realise it now that your mom is telling you

I think everyone is ignoring Zo's history with his family. Joke has been a distraction from the things he was told should always be a priority (school work and academic excellance) and now Joke wants his attention when he is dealing with the harshness of his family's illness.
I don't blame Zo for being overwhelmed. Joke always had a history of pushing him WAY passed his limits.
Right now Zo doesn't have the energy for him and I don't blame him one bit

If your partner thinks they are more important in moments like these, it is time to leave them.
This was growth for Zo, realizing he wanted to spend time with his mom and dad rather than homework and academics when they needed him most. The last thing he needs is another person pushing him right now
Zo was being an asshole to Joke, and Joke didn't deserve it. The way he told hom to 'LEAVE' was ridiculous, as if he was blaming Joke for everything that is going on in his life. It is ludicrous to be like that to someone who has only been kind to him and who wants to be supportive of him. Even if he felt he wanted to be alone or whatever shit, he could have at least thanked Joke for trying to be there for him and for his words of encouragement and upliftment. Instead, he made Joke feel like a culprit and as if he is a waste of his time.
Joke did NOT deserve that.

The hospital scene between Zo and Joke was exactly like MSP's were Gun thinks he's pushed Tinn too faw away he runs out to the coridor looks around and feels like he lost him. Then Tinn comes back in out of nowhere .

I'm so proud of Zo for finally telling his mtoher how he felt.. I mean if you have kept something to yourself and never shared it with the other person that you're feeling it towards, then it'll be stuck in your mind and there's no way to fight it. I love how Zo's mother understood him and comforted him which is something my real mother wouldn't as she expects me to always get straight A's and understand the lessons. I'm human too.. But anyways I also love how Zo's mom noticed something going on between Joke and Zo and I know that his mom trusts Joke + knws that she can count on him as family. Well guess whose gonna be her son in law after a few episodes.. 🤭🤭💗

The way I rage shrieked when she said "I never set any expectations for you to follow" at 5:24!! The LIESSS!! I guess we all collectively hallucinated that episode where you repeatedly told Zo he had to win because you are a Thai language teacher and if he didn't win, it would be embarrassing. We must have imagined all those all-nighter practice sessions you made him do, too!! 🤬

It was so sad to hear Zo doesn't see Joke as someone Important despite all the things Joke did for him and always being there whenever he's having a hard time but here I'm so proud of Zo's mom for making Zo realise that there someone who was always by his side, someone precious to him, that person is also important in his life and he should not lose that person by thinking he's not as important as his family and yes that's true his family needs him more at the moment but still he can't neglect those who always cares for him

I’m so glad that Zos mom apologized for making him feel like she wasn’t proud of him. I feel like a lot of times parents kind of dismiss the part they played in hurting their child and it ends up leaving a rift in the relationship that’s very hard to patch back up. Her acknowledging and apologizing for it was really nice and very touching
Nah she immediately took the gas light route and said she never set any expectations for him (5:24) when in reality she was telling him it would be embarrassing for her as a Thai language teacher if he didn't win best speaker award. How can Zo push somebody like Joke away? Like Joke was there in all of his ups and downs....and Zo seemed to be blaming Joke for everything happening in his life. How is Zo getting so unlikable in the last eps. It’s like he’s just with Joke cause he feels good& uplifted but he doesn’t really love him or ever thought about how deep his feelings are. Like he’s just there in the relationship he’s not participating at all. He always mentions how Joke does a lot for him but then never reciprocates he’s just not present at all in the relationship.
It's good Zo finally talked to his mother. It's never easy to have this type of conversation and it shows a good deal of courage from him. Meanwhile, I really don't understand Zo's behaviour with Joke. He just want to support his boyfriend, to be here for him and help him in anyway he can so why reject him ? It's not like he doesn't love him. Joke is not asking crazy things, he just want to be there for Zo.
I love how the actress who was playing as Zo's Mom, the way she's acting was giving me a soft spot in my heart. I love her ❤
It took me this long to finally figure out that Zo's mother is the money grubbing step mom in Naughty Babe. Zo's mom said she never set any expectations for him, but she has implied it in so many different ways. I wish she had answered his question and then reassured him.

The confrontation scene between zo and his mom really made me cry. It's so relatable and how they executed it is so perfect.
I understand Zo has a lot going on right now and that he has assumed things about his mom, but I don’t understand why he’s pushing Joke away. It makes no sense as Joke has been understanding and supportive, he has been there for him even without knowing what Joke is dealing with because Joke has been so into Zo that there was no place for his own problems and insecurities. He gave himself to Zo, but Zo is not doing the same and I can get his suffering over his mom and the things he hasn’t accomplished and that his father is in the hospital, but I don’t understand his attitude as having his boyfriend by his side is not a bad thing, but there’s Joke always following him, wanting to be there for him. This is the part I don’t like, when they show one loving the most and the other with an attitude, being into his own problems, as if he’s being selfish, it’s out of nowhere. Why showing such a problem in a finale? Is this the finale? I didn’t like Be Mine Superstar final episode and this feels just like that one 😞 finales should be heartwarming.

I kinda agree but in real life there's someone who like Zo and I understand a person like Zo who never been in relationship (maybe) he doesn't understand what should he do and also confused by himself why he push Joke aside since overwhelming sometimes make us mad with everything but glad at least Zo finally realised what he did is wrong and try to fix everything with Joke in the end but yeah this should be at least at previous episode so when this final episode is full of their sweetness only 😂 (sorry my bad english kha 🙏)
I thought I was the only one thinking the same way. It was ridiculous, even hilarious. Instead of being upset when Zo told Joke to leave, I burst out laughing 😅 cos it was not a believable scene. I don't know if it was the acting or the direction but it wasn't convincing at all. While there is no "perfect" person, Joke has always been there for Zo and has consistently shown Zo that he can always count on him. So what is it he was saying again? Something about wasting his time on the wrong things and wants to spend time with his family?
Just say you want space Zo. At least that makes more sense than acting like this man who's been your main support system all this while is a nuisance and a distraction.
I understand the need to regroup and take some time for yourself when you feel overwhelmed by what is going on in your life. Sometimes you just need to deal with things on your own and that's completely alright. But in that case Zo should have just said clearly to Joke: "Thanks for wanting to be here but I need to deal with this alone". And maybe "we are okay and I love you" because Joke was clearly equating Zo wanting distance to their relationship being in danger. But instead, Zo left Joke stewing in his insecurities and it did look like he wanted distance from Joke [i]because[/i] Joke was part of the problem. It's further corroborated when he says Joke is something that kept him from focusing on the right/importants things aka his family. If that's what Zo feels about Joke, then he does need to sit down and reassess his relationship, because that's not how you should feel about your special one. And Joke deserves to know where Zo stands with him.
I agree that he’s treating joke badly but if we look at his character and how he chooses to deal with problems it’s very much an isolate yourself and shove down any feelings so you don’t hurt anyone else kind of deal. It makes sense with his character that he’s going to push away his support system because he thinks it’s too much for them and he thinks he doesn’t deserve them. I haven’t finished the ep yet so hopefully we get to see him work through this and talk out his issues with Joke!

Joke was made to look directly at the sun (Zo) and Zo was made to light up Joke's world.
Their relationship is so pure, adorable, and comfortable to watch. I am glad they are moving away from their insecurities, I wouldn't have it any other way, they were always endgame for me.

What in the tomfoolery was this? I avoided this episode because of the preview and now I see why. If this wasn’t the weirdest turnaround, idk what is. I had to look and see if I was watching the right episode! I know ppl react differently in tough and rough times,but sheesh! Zo was just straight up harsh. Even his mother saw it!

What an incredible series, I have mixed feelings, very happy and proud of the evolution we saw throughout the story, the way each situation was portrayed, simply perfect, and sad for it being the last episode, I will really miss this moment in our lives. my Sundays. A very thoughtful conversation between Zo and her mother that gave moving moments, every being is special but the people who encourage, support, accompany and are always there for everything are more special. 😍😍😭😭😍😍

The whole hospital scene was exactly like in MSP but the scene in MSP would make sense but here nothing makes sense in MSP Tinn didn't told Gun about his mom's condition coz Gun's mom told him to not to tell Gun but Gun felt like why didn't he told him but when he realized he ran away to get Tinn but here Zo be like " Why are you here, Leave. i felt like i've been focusing on wrong thing everytime " like seriously is Joke is wrong thing to you he made him feel like culprit.

bruh this was very frustrating. The way Zo pushed Joke away one sidedly, no words or explanation when Joke always been there for him and trying to work out things for them.. it breaks my heart watching my boy Joke has always been the one catering everything on Zo needs and he’s not even complaining, but here Zo so easily said that everything went down hill just because he spent ‘time’ with Joke and forgot his first goals, BFR!! If you can’t appreciate Joke just get the hell out of his life
Tell me about it! I'm watching through it for the first time (late as ever, lol), and I seriously don't understand the backlash that Joke gets at every turn?? Zo put him through the ringer when he didn't tell him about how he wanted to pursue him, saying he wanted a good relationship built with trust, but when Joke does anything to try and build that trust with him, Zo pushes him away. Joke understands that he has mommy issues, but still gets treated like the problem. And after all this, judging from the thumbnails of the next two parts, they're going to be happy. If I was Joke, I'd seriously be thinking of making him grovel before forgiving him, but that's just me.
I cannot hate Zo for his actions and behavior because when you are in a situation like that, you tend to act harsh towards the world and even if he’s not being nice to Joke, it’s because he’s also struggling and both of them need to figure out how to be with the other on situations like these… I like that their relationship is not sugarcoated but entirely human… joke gives too much but he has to learn that zo also needs his space… and zo has to learn to accept the love and company joke is giving him in order to be able to love joke the fullest…
even though Zo is going through something that really hurts, it doesn't warrant him the right to treat somebody who has always been there for him that way. That's just uncalled for. He should have at least dealt with it in a mature way.

La escena del hospital me recordó mucho a My School President. Sin embargo, en MSP la escena tenía sentido. La mamá de Gun le dijo a su hijo cosas que él no sabía y entonces así él entendió que Tinn se preocupaba mucho por él (al menos eso es lo que recuerdo).
En cambio, aquí la mamá de Zo lo único que hizo fue decirle lo obvio. ¿Realmente Zo necesitaba esa conversación con su mamá para darse cuenta lo importante que Joke era en su vida? Me parece decepcionante.
Sí estoy de acuerdo, creo la escena en MSP estaba más ejecutado en una modo buena. Tenía sentido como tu dijisteis porque esa fue el primera pelea grande que Tinn y Gun tenido, y Gun no sabía los cosas que Tinn hay hecho por él. Por esa razón el mamá de Gun le dijo y eso hizo que Gun se dío cuenta que no quiere perder a Tinn🥺💔
Aunque puedo decir que Zo es una persona que quiere estar solo cuando esta pasando por algo, y no sabe otro modo para afrontar como se siente. Ademas, por lo que paso con Punn creo que es un razón que Zo es así y es difícil para él confiar. Aunque sí pienso que hubo una manera más mejor que Zo podia decir a Joke eso.

For everyone who is disappointed in Zo and thinking he's taking Joke for granted should know that he's always thought he was never enough and being around Joke and comforted by him is really very nice and all but he's afraid of getting too comfortable and making another mistake and letting his mom down again. Like that fight during his HC. An overthinking person like Zo, can connect anything with anything and suffer by himself. He may have thought if he relaxes and makes a mistake he can't face his mom's disappointed face again. He doesn't believe in Joke's words because his mom never gave the encouragement that he wanted before Joke interfered so he thinks its not sincere. Its his mom and only his mom can make him believe that her words arw true and feelings are sincere so that he can see that Joke was roght all along and he can believe Joke without overthinking and suffering by himself. Joke is great but here only his mom could've helped him with his mindset.

Tbh if I were in Joke's shoes, the hospital scene would have the last straw for me. The next thing, I would be gone and gone forever and never coming back🤧😂😂. Zo is really insensitive and putting up with him is really not a plate I would want to pick up😅. I'm literally mad on behalf of Joke rn.

I think the series would have been more beautiful if the script is notbthis jumbled or i think there were some lapses in the turn of events like it was not flowing that well or some scenes were rushed. Its great that the actors still portrayed the characters really well and joongdunk really has great chemistry
