In this video, Amit starts his journey from Gangtok to Lachung. On the way, made North Sikkim permit in Mangan. Post Mangan, the roads were very scary and dangerous with broken patches, landslides, muddy and rocky roads, deep clifs and water crossings.
Upon reaching Chungthang, we experienced a disaster which was created by the flash flood occured on the Teesta River which brought a havoc on Chungthang Dam, Toong and all the nearby places along the way.
However, the people and the workforce is working extremely hard and moving forward in terms of development and overcoming the Teesta Disaster.
Later, we reached Lachung where we checked in a beautiful hotel which will be a base for our next adventure.
