If Domas can improve his mid-range in the high-post and PnR defense in the coming years, then this Kings team will be a nightmare matchup for opposing teams.
He’s turning 27 how does he still not have a midrange smh. Had he developed that he’d be unstoppable in that warriors series he’d be wide open from the free throw line area with the defense sagging off him and he’d still refuse to shoot it.
@@tyresejones3535 exactly why his numbers and efficiency dropped off in that Warriors series. GSW knew he's only a great scorer at the low-post and slow when picking up switches in the PnR.

@@plsstoptalking I know that, bro and I'm not criticizing him for sustaining said injury. But even in the regular season, I rarely saw him take mid-range jumpers in the high-post to bail the Kings out when his teammates aren't available.

Sabonis needs to improve under pressure in the playoffs and Kings need to add a younger, defensive PF who can protect the rim and defend the perimeter to make up for some of Sabonis' shortcomings. Right now, that team is lacking an experienced 3rd scorer to take pressure of Sabonis. Murray is a perfect fit for that role but maybe he needs another year to be fully effective as the 3rd option. I expect Kings to stay relevant in the playoffs for the next 3 years at least and they could be contenders if either Murray grows into an all-star or they add another piece at the forward spot and maybe another bench 3-d shooter.
They need someone like Lavine
@@Churrrr I disagree. Fox is a bad defender. They would better get a solid 3+D wing like Mikel Bridges or Jaylen Brown. Maybe PG? I want a two-way guy there to make up for shortcomings of Fox and Sabots. Their offense is already elite
@@mrvk39 fair enough, Lavine would still prosper with the two, able to score easy due to sabonis and fox playmaking and back peddle when fox takes over in the 4th quarter. However also agree with your logic, if they can get a 3 and D player as well as a shot blocking center (Turner or Lopez) then they will be complete
@@Churrrr I, think that Sabonis is better as a 5 vs. 4. when he played with Turner at Indiana, I thought they were better off when one was on the bench. I think that good defensive-minded 4 would be ok. Someone like McDaniels or Gordon. There are a lot of serviceable 4s around. Yeah, Kings won't be a defensive monster in the paint but it would still be decent defensively.
