Boo
gosh jeez you scared me I almost dropped my phone
Holy carp, you scared me. I have a bone to pick with you now....
Holy moly, I fell off my chair, you scared me so hard
Why are you boo'ing? These dice sets are amazing!
Hello Gru
The spider dice ink is like a trick or treat thing. (1 is the trick, 20 is the treat)
I like it ;D
Dang, I aways get tricked then
You can tell he's been a DM by the quality of the accents 😂
As a DM, I concour.
Aw man, every time I watch a video of yours I just feel so proud and glad that you managed to make a career out of something you love! I can't afford to support you financially right now, but it's so nice to see that others do, and that creators like you can flourish :D
Thank you Strider :) Just watching my videos is support enough! Take care of you and yours first. But know I appreciate the thought :)
@@Rybonator How are you so wholesome!
A good way I found to "stain" wood without actually using a wood stain set is to get the colour you want in paint, water it waaaay down then brush it on and immediately wipe it off with kitchen towel or whatever.
If I eat these spooky click clack math rocks, will I finally become the feared sleep paralysis demon I dream to be this Halloween?
No, but you might have some spider eggs inside you :P
@@Rybonator
Even better!
Mmm my favorite!
From my experience using effects paints, you MUST always have an undercoat of some kind to get the color you're wanting and use the effect. It's a pain but it makes your effect paint pop so much more.
I always use white as a base to make the top coat more opaque.
Your puns are the best, so humerus! These are simply to die for, they had me so spooked I was coffin for hours. I am really tied to the spider dice, they get my heart all tangled. And Oh, My Gourd, those glow ones certainly lift my spirits, and I can't wait to trick or treat myself and use your tutorials to stop sucking at making my own dice. I love your stuff, you make the most boo-tiful dice that even my goul-friend is wanting to get some! Alright, I'll stop being a pain in the neck and get out before I make you too batty! Make sure to keep getting wrapped up in your work and have the most fang-tastic of Howl-oweens.
I cannot let my girlfriend see this. I already have 4 other sets to make for her
What's one more?
Make it 5 ;D
5 is a nice round number
@@Beacuzz yes 5 is an integer so why
as a percentage, how much of your video making time goes into the puns for the intros?
Whatever % you think it is, double it.
@@Rybonator 200%??
Spooky Rybonator is my favorite of your split personalities
If you're looking for a glow effect that still looks good in normal lighting, you could always paint the numbers with the color of your choice and then add a layer of the glow paint.
I’m usually not all about spiders, but those spider dice are awesome!
Halloween dice! I’m so excited
Time to get spooped :)
resin art is so cool, i'd love to try making my own dice someday
Not sure if someone told you this already, but the color shifting Dragonfly Glaze acrylic paint you used in a video ages back is best used as an additive or top coat! I've used it to add a little touch of shimmer to dice I've re-inked. You should give it another shot :)
The dice God called me, so I am here 😍
Edit: So much glow! These are amazing!!!!
Answering the spooky call :)
@@Rybonator Has to be done
I've used some of those cheap glow in the dark paints before, there's a decent chance it's lost a lot of volume and you'd be able to go over it again with the same paint and, to some extent, help with that lack of pigment issue
Awww, the spider ones look soooo awesome!!! I loved the purple and orange in the numbers! The ones for the giveaway are also so cool, glowing in the dark 😍 I was thinking about the way you make those dices. You pour the resin trying not to mix it much so you get layers, but in the end they mix a bit more than expected. Have you thought it could be caused by the pressure pot fase? The bubbles will go up, moving and mixing the resin, so maybe that's why you don't get clear layers, and instead it's a bit more mixed. I hope that helps some way for future layered dices :3
10 puns
Impressive
Tried to break that double digit barrier
Ah I love all of these! The spider dice are so cool!
I am very much a fan of those spider dice! Both sets and the box and dice tray look awesome
That intro... I LOVED IT!
So, my husband and I have been wanting to get into working with resin, and especially making dice. I think might have sealed the deal when we have the extra money. 😈❤
The mythical 10 puns!! Spooky!!!
Breaking that double digit barrier with the power of ghosts!
I personally love the folk art metallic paints as a cheap but shiny ink, but I completely agree about the glow inks. I had to repeatedly ink them over and over to get it noticeable enough
9:05 missed opportunity to say bada bing, bada-BOO!
Can't wait for the Rybonator / Food Wishes collab
I actually painted up a couple of those coffins. The dark red I was mixing for the inside turned out looking like a cherry stain, so not mad. Loving the puns & the results of the projects of this video!
Looking at the Spider set, I really like how the 'web' doesn't look like its touching the sides of the dice, and it reminds me of clouds. I don't know much about dice making or if its possible but a transparent sky blue with cotton ball clouds in them, but I think it would look really cool.
You always do such an amazing job thank you for yet another stunning walkthrough video!!!
Thank YOU for the kind words Janet :) I truly appreciate it
YES SPOOPY DICE
SO SPOOPY! :)
@@Rybonator Thanks for all the work you put into these, they’re always a joy!
Bada bing bada spooky😂😂
"Bada bing bada spooky" is my new favorite sentence
Shoot I missed this when it first came out. But these are super cool! The spider ones actually look like.a spider guarding her egg sack! Which is way more spooky than just a web!!! Well done!
These dice tricks were a real treat to wake up to. Always makes for a good mourning :)
Stuart Semple, the man who made the super dark black pigment you have, also has a series of glow in the dark pigments called LIT. They glow super bright, and I think they could look really cool in a resin project :)
Ohmygods! I love gametee!! I have a dice box from them, a coin of fate and the deck of many destinies!! Also the dice look soooo good!!
It may sound contradictory, but your vampire voice gives me life
the spoopiest thing of all was not mentioning the giveaway in the title lmao. a nice littel surprise :^)
Sometimes you gotta get a Treat with my tricks :)
THATS THE RAWRBERT VOICE!!!! 😭😭😭 I MISS HIM!!!!
Hearing you make the "around the outside" joke made me happy
Those glow dice turned out really awesome! Love the spider dice too. Also I made the mistake of opening the link to the Halloween collection on GameTee and... I want all of it.
The spiders on their little webs turned out so great!! Now I need to go see if my local Michaels still has those coffin trays...
dude i LOVE the spider dice!!! so cool looking.
Perfect Drow/ Dark self set
After a really bad day, to see another upload of dice has made it a lot better
I really like those spooky spider dice, that cotton worked REALLY well, like, what a cool effect, and it doesn't mess with the fairness of the dice! That's just objectively awesome!
Perfect for my favorite time of year!
I need those spiders and that glow powder lol I'll have to grab some next time I order resin and stuff!
My Halloween dice experimenting this year was centered around a haunted forest theme! I cut out tiny trees from construction paper, did one pour of a transparent purple/blue to make sure they stayed upright, and then made a foggy layer around the tree trunks using the method I learned from your smoke style dice video! I'd love to see your take on a more diorama-like style next year :) (or maybe even sooner!)
It’s the girlish squeal for me 😍 Very realistic spider 😂
WOO!!! SPOOPY VIDEO!! I've been waiting for this for a looooooooooonngg time
not that long
but it feels like it
OOO
Maybe ink with regular orange and then put a layer of the glow in the dark orange on top. That way you get the pigment and glow. I generally get a clear glow in the dark paint to work with so that way I can use it on any color.
These turned out so great. I especially love the spider dice too, very cool effect!
These look great! I've always had a soft spot for Halloween themed dice and these are brilliant!!
Edit: you should make a mild with the coffin lockbox thing so you could make it out of resin like those dice boxes you did before!
2 for 2 on the Halloween dice videos! Love them!
For next year, maybe the Blue Mimic could help you with a mold that lets you suspend a 'blood drop' or a cotton ball soaked in the glow powder on one side of each dice for a ghost effect.
Man i love your videos you made me want to get started with dice making
Rybonator thank you,an much love man, I was thinking of doing this myself honestly making a coffin dice tray an holder out of the larger coffin but buying 2 so I could make a case cover out of one.
I highly appreciate the "Round the outside" reference xD
I'm new to this channel, but don't let that stop you from giving me some of this awesome giveaway stuff!
The spider dice is an amazing idea and well executed. I kinda think less cotton would feel more webby, but great job
I still think you could combine the swirly glitter sealed in a glass shell style of dice with the concept of a blood dice to make creepy dice that you don't have to hazmat.
Ohhh now that would be fun to try! :)
Obsessed with the spider dice, full goblin grabby hands for those ones
Seriously loving the spider dice! Once I finally get my work area set up, I’ll try making some!
The spider dice is certainly the best one.
BTW, just an idea for more spooky dice, think you could make masquerade dice? You know, tiny little masks inside semi transparent dice? Or you know, just chains or skulls work too
5:16 forbidden Mac n cheese powder
The Glow Dice are amazing!!!!
I'm glad you like them :D I think they look awesome in the dark!
@@Rybonator they look very awesome! Have you though of some poison themed dice? Could be neat for a Halloween or rouge character.
Awesome video as always! At the moment I have a test run for my very first set of dice in my (improvised) pressure pot, so I'm really curious how it turns out. Thank you so much for inspiring me to take the leap and for your incredibly detailed video's explaining everything so well!
10:04 just.... a manly scream
Soooo spoookkkyyyy really liked the spider dice!!
Can you please make sea glass dice?
I need the spider dice. They're adorable...
I appreciate the Chef John reference.
Thanks for the giveaway! That's really cool, man!
For the folk art glow paint, you should've used a regular orange paint then a fair coat of the glow paint. Because iirc the glow paints and color shifts need a proper color base/primer to really get a good effect off of them.
The spider dice look awesome - I’d love to see them inked in red!
Best intro you've ever had
Another great set of dice I will try to make once I finally get my pressure pot! Very cool!
Awesome!
Have you looked at pentograph reducing as a way to engrave dice with channel logos quickly without needing to make a dice mold of each logo? A master logo on the machine you simply run a styles around and the bit on the engraving section copies the movement in the die.
Between a pentograph and a rotocaster you should have some fun options both in die making and in other aspects of resin casting.
I have that brand of orange glow paint. It needs multiple coats and LOTS of charging time in the sun to glow. Also working on my own coffin dice box coincidentally! The felt bottom method will come in handy, so thanks!
I used these same coffins from michaels to make dice boxes, but I lined them with felt and painted them black and made the hinges and latches look rusty using silver paint, cinnamon and clear coat
the spider d12? Much love. Very spooky drow druid
These puns were like so good, good there was a pun counter cuz otherwise I would’ve missed a few!
If you are looking for spooky die ideas for next year (which be honest, we are all going to forget about it once it is Christmas). Those resin skulls and bones that mini kit-bashers love to use would make great inserts for dice.
The time of the year we’ve all been waiting for
the spooky voice is just making me think of rawrbert... the spookiest thing is how much i miss my boi
I have been so in love with your videos ever since I randomly got suggested to watch it through my CZcams page. It even got me to start making dice of my own, though without a pressure pot (maybe one day). I am curious, though, how putting things inside the dice affects the balance of the roll. Is any weight difference really that drastic, or is it negligible? Love your videos and I always look forward to your uploads!
You could totally use some more of that orange glow powder to make super bright jack o lantern dice
oooohh! cool dice!
Thanks Big Guy :D
I really wanna get into DND but I dont have anybody to play with
Silicone circular mat/tray with a lip might be interesting to see.
I need round two spider dice with those glow in the dark beauties!!!!
Rybonator How would YOU go about making open face dice molds of those fireball dice you have? I was watching your "Failed" lightning bolt dice recently, and thought you were onto something with the blue and yellow, but until I saw this video with soaking the cotton balls to make spider webs it gave me an idea. With a new open face Fireball dice mold, soak cotton balls in blue resin and yellow resin, put the colored resin saturated balls into the open face mold with like a clear sparkle resin. Then you will have a clear dice with blue and yellow "electricity" bouncing around inside.
So cool
No u :)
Epic music
Lol I love when u said GlowDice at the end of the video cause that my gamer tag lol
I actually got the wallet last year when it was on Kickstarter. I love it. :)
The openning music has a very Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver feeling. I like it!
the intro was bootiful, I bet you searched the web to find those spooktacular puns!
I had the similar problem with neon pink paint, had to repaint it like 3 times i think?
What I did afterword's was got a cheaper, normal pink paint to do the first touch up of pink paint then did it again with the neon, some how the neon stayed this time and looked much better.
That bandana is sick...
