My understanding is that the park will have to pay for some local infrastructure expansion if the park draws in so many people that effects residential traffic flow nearby and the park doesn't want to draw more attention from regional guests because that'll put then on the hook.
Great Adventure is very jealous that they haven’t gotten an animated video for Flash. Over Georgia got theirs first for Georgia Surfer and next is Bobcat for Great Escape.
I like the layout and ride quality to this new wooden coaster. I will miss the old bob sled coaster but this looks like a nice family style coaster. It is large enough to give you a thrilling ride but not too wild that most people would enjoy.
@@MondoCoasters Kinda makes sense, except that multiple coasters have already had their track at least partially replaced with their Precut Track, so still not really first of its kind. In terms of layout or trains it's not first of its kind either so idk why they said that. It's not even the first in America
@@GoudLoodje as you said, the other ones only partially feature precut track - Bobcat is supposed to be entirely made of Precut Track. I agree it's a reach, but that's just current theme park marketing in a nutshell 🤷♂️
@@MondoCoasters definitely a reach, yeah. If I built a custom layout in a park I’d own I could say it’s a world’s first because it’s the only ride in the world with a specific combination of top speed and track length, lol. Wouldn’t be surprised if parks start doing that soon
Does this mean the park will be getting more investments? Maybe a modern looping coaster? Or a Chance Ride mini-hyper coaster (like the one at Kentucky Kingdom)?
I wish the people who create animations like this tap into the video game world and create a simulation game as realistic as this that would be the modern roller coaster tycoon
@@rollercoasterheaven2170 of course. They would make it back. Look at the success of planet coaster. Huge community of ppl willing to spend $$ on a good theme park game.
@@infinityplex9871this was not planet coaster, these are made using professional 3d animation software. Planet coaster can get really good though yea, Nolimits 2 can do even better but this is not either of those
Not going to lie, and I hope I’m not alone when I say this, but that was exactly sixty earth seconds that I am never getting back and I’m angry that I won’t ever get it back. First of its kind? It looks like every fair ground wooden roller coaster. Six Flags, do better or cease as a company
Fairgrounds don't have wooden rollercoasters, as their supports are too hard to move. Also, this has a totally different type of layout than your typical out-and-back wooden coaster. I would agree on it not being first of it's kind though, since the company that built this ride (Gravity Group) has built a near clone of this ride at Walibi Rhône-Alpes in France
It's the first of its kind in that it's the first full coaster layout using Gravity Group's precut wooden track. And first Gravity Group coaster in the Six Flags chain.
please let this be a sign that this park will get more love
I'm surprised these parks in new York haven't been built up more
I’m still surprised they added a new coaster to Great Escape before Six Flags America.
My understanding is that the park will have to pay for some local infrastructure expansion if the park draws in so many people that effects residential traffic flow nearby and the park doesn't want to draw more attention from regional guests because that'll put then on the hook.
@Goofball5225 that's what I've been saying for years now. Also maybe replace canyon Blaster with a family suspended coaster
@Goofball5225This is exactly what I have been saying and RMC Raptor would be perfect for Great Escape
The shaping of that track in that pov is 😘
Could the airtime be as good as roar o soraus or wooden warrior?
This is going to be an exciting addition for the park. It's a shame that they had to remove the Alpine Bobsled for it though.
Alpine bobsled was closed more often than open. Glad to see it gone.
I just now got that Bobcat is replacing Alpine Bobsleds. They both have Bob in the name.
It's going to complement this park so well!
This Looks Awesome! Glad Great Escape is Getting a New Coaster and its AWESOME MODEL! Great Job Six Flags!
Chad Miller of the Gravity Group also deserves a thanks for designing this wonderful masterpiece.
Well this park it's going to have 2 wooden coasters. That's going to be amazing.
It’ll be cool to have one really old one and one new-age one!
@@athenaclark2567 So what you're saying is Comet is the old wooden coaster while Bobcat is the new wooden coaster.
@@zacharyelder349 Yeah
@zacharyelder349 basically comet used to run at a defunct park called crystal beach, which opened around 1948
@@FryGuy909 That' true it's said so on the ACE landmark.
Really like how they are reusing Alpine Bobsleds station
I rode this ride yesterday! It was so fun
Dying for a Flash animated announcement
As in, Adobe Flash? While it is still available, it's only supported on sharply-limited levels.
@@bobjersey no the new coaster at great adventure

THE CLASSIC ANIMATION IS BACK LETS GO!!!
Looks good but confused to how it is a "first of its kind"
But looks solid
I think they're referring to how it's the first ground-up coaster to be fully made of Gravity Group's Precut Track
It’s also the first gravity group family coaster in the six flags chain

Yall show Six Flags New England some lovee plss 😭

It has been nicknamed Robert Cat by the community.
When will this be RMC'd?
😂
its gonna be just like comet no differnt
Nothing like it at all
Does anyone know if the ride will be operating at the 2024 opening ?
As a ride operator at Great Escape, an opening date hasn't been announced yet.
Is this the draft title
Nope.
hoping this will be ready by May or june
