00:38 Artificial grass installation over tiles:
First of all, measure the surface including columns and all obstacles that will need to be avoided.
Extend the roll, which will always be 2 meters wide. Measure and put marks with the cutter. Then, roll it up a bit and cut it by leaning on the roll.
Put the pieces of artificial grass on the surface and mark the possible cuts.
For example, to avoid this column, we will measure its depth and put a cut mark on the lawn.
Snap the piece into place and adjust it to fit perfectly before making the cut. Make the cut leaving a small margin between the cut and the wall.
To cut the perimeter, make marks every 30 cm with the cutter before making the final cut.
Before placing the next piece of grass, pay special attention to the stripes that are going to stay together.
Cut a knot (0,5 cm) on each side of the part that is going to be joined with another, so that it is perfectly straight.
Leave a distance and the joint will be perfect.
Pay attention! Make sure that the hair has the same direction on both pieces.
Put weight on the pieces of grass so that they do not move, roll them up a bit and extend the self-adhesive tape.
Carefully, remove the adhesive from one side and stick it to the corresponding piece.
Lift the other piece and repeat the process very carefully.
To prevent hair from sticking to the strip, lift both pieces along the entire length of the joint.
Now, glue the grass to the tiles floor. To do this, use the TodoCESPED putty and introduce it in the putty gun.
Normally you will only need to glue the perimeter with stitches every 30 cm. Make sure all corners and cuts are well glued.
    Wait 24 hours.
Then, comb the grass in reverse direction to lift the fibres and remove any fallen hairs during the trimming.
Finally, apply the TodoCESPED perfume sanitizer to give a fresh grass smell and prevent the appearance of bacteria.
And that’s all, our artificial grass it’s ready to use, enjoy it! More information at todocesped.es

You can’t put this on top of a tiled balcony. Moisture gets trapped underneath and will destroy the grout. You would need to apply a waterproofing membrane first to protect the grout

Can anyone share some info on drainage pls? Would this not cause mould on the tiles overtime?

The balcony has a tilt. Water will not pool.

The water will drain but you will still be left with enough moisture to damage the grout

don't do this - i have 20000 dollar damage from a tenant doing this - and water seeping to plaster below - as waterproof layer not designed for this - builder says not under warranty though property is 1 year old

I have an open terrace and tiled flooring. Not sure if artificial grass is applicable for me. Im worried bout the drain of water during rainy season
