This was done to incentivize people to purchase the -- physical copies, on CD or Vinyl Records for the Amnesty (I) album. The profits made from this "limited run", deluxe set was donated to Amnesty International. Of coarse, little did the "powers that be" discover that Kept would become, one of Crystal Castles biggest hits. Kept was, more or less, considered a throw-a-way bonus song. They originally thought, because of its "experimental electronic sound" classification, that their fan base would consider it, to be an -- "Oh Well... Whatever" and well, that would be that; nevertheless, the experiment turned into genius. For a while, I worked for a large multi-media company in Los Angeles, where my responsibilities included contracts, copyright law, and legal enforcement within its "Business Law" division. Under a "good-faith clause", Amnesty International could seek legal action if, the song Kept was re-released, however, it's still questionable regarding any digital sales; but, I recently discovered the song was taken off of the digital sales websites, also. Although, CZcams hates it, dedicated fans keep uploading this song and why not -- it's a masterpiece.

So, maybe this album could be like that one? BTW: My buddy is still, my buddy, but he wants me to give it to him, when I die. I said, "Sure, why not, what are friends for?"

Crystal castles is literally my favorite band ever and this song is one of my favorites from them. it just gives me some type of specific vibes that I cant get anywhere else in music. I love them so much this is why they are my favorite music producers
