Dr. If someone dream or imagine frequently a bad and unpleasant experience which happened to him long time before, what is this mental disorder ?

I am not sure but it would probably be post traumatic stress disorder if that unpleasant experience was stressful or traumatic.

can blind people have visual hallucinations? i have a blind patient with dementia and she has begun seeing her dead mother and she gets scared and anxious affecting her life quality. The hallucinations came after she got diagnosed with vascular dementia and not Lewy body dementia . Should this patient be treated?even though it is coming from inside and cannot be diagnosed as hallucination it is still very distressful for the patient.

Sir, I have already some symptoms such as severe hallucinations, illusion, visual hallucinations, relationship problems. Afterthat I took some medicines but still I have visual hallucinations and illusion problems. Now It leads to delusional disorder. Please tell me that what kind of medicines can take to cure delusional disorder. Please suggest me some medicines.

It's better to do meditation along with taking medicine...it may improve ur brain activity

antipsychotics! therapy is useful of course; but to my understanding, some kind of medication is almost always used to treat hallucinations/psychosis.
doesn’t always have to be really severe medication either… my aunt takes seraquel for her depression+anxiety, but it is an antipsychotic medication, it works thru balancing serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain. i hope you found the help you felt you needed when you made this comment!

Hallo doctor , the definition of hallucinations : i won t be able to differentiate between hallucination and reality , is not anymore valid . We talk now about hallucinations with insight and without insight. Pseudohallucinations are not anymore classified in dsm and icd .
