Yes completely understand this. Thank you Mike for addressing this. My brother is caught up in a group of people who are following the cepher (uk) which seems to have replaced the Holy Bible and takes them away from building a relationship with God. I have been trying to show him that God is love, righteous, holy but also joyful, compassionate, forgiving and lived from a place of rest. There doesnt seem to be any compassion for people. I am praying for him and the rest of the group. I read a scripture from the Passion Translation and it seemed to change the atmosphere completely. Hallelujah Jesus Christ is our Lord and our Saviour and he wants to work with us to help him bring His Kingdom in. May their eyes and ears be opened. 💕 broken 💔 🙏

I was exposed to the movement yrs ago. The people were arrogant and legalistic.

      I can second that.
Many in the hebrew roots movement are:
      Arrogant
      Legalistic
      Cold
      Loveless
Will throw anyone out whom they don’t agree
Will only fellowship with those that adhere to their dogma
      Obnoxious
      Proud
Regress back to the law ( circumcision )
Go round the world in search of the 12 “lost “ tribes
They are just so exclusive , weird & cocky.
But you guys are pretty judgmental too.
I teach Biblical Hebrew and I used to be a 7th day Adventist. So, I have the advantage of understanding legalism, exclusivist practices & now I have a new pair of lens to understand God’s Word.
I think we need to fulfill Ephesians 2:14,15. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Baptism in holy Spirit is a real thing. I received mine after praying and fasting for it for a week. I felt very strong presence of love and literally electricity going through me for 2 days. After that I lost desire to drink alcohol.

I live in Ava,Mo. In my town this battle is going on. The Hebrew movement people are buying up businesses all over the town. The outside of love I personally experienced. The shop owner and one of his friends were drinking coffee and discussing their personal hate with the homeless and drug addicts. It broke my heart. I walked out and have never been back. I pray their hearts and eyes will be opened.

Prescriptive That is a really good point and something that I have been guilty of applying to God. He treats everyone according to how He sees them and not how we see Him. It is an easy trap to fall into and apply our own experience as the one and only way.

I found many Messianic Jews and was very disappointed because they are following heresy of Galatians. I Recently found that Jews for Jesus changed their direction and turned to Judaism too

Some in hebrew roots movement also support the noahide law , not realizing they are paving the way to their own grave.

This is a massive deception among the mothers circles I walk in, believing you have to cover your heads and wear what looks like old time prairie clothing or Hebrew style modest clothing. Taking the sabbath etc, celebrating feasts. The circles I walk in are mostly homeschooling families and there is big movement at the moment that are heading this way.

Thanks for talking about this Mike. I totally agree. Jesus has sanctified all of humanity and there’s no special benefit to being Hebrew or Jewish. We are all one. It’s another form of religion

My husband and his family are Jewish. I enjoy celebrating the holidays with them but we don’t follow the law ourselves. I consider Rabbinic Judaism (Talmud) very cult like.

I was raised in very religious pentecostal church in USSR which doesn't look like American pentecostal church but rather Russian Orthodox church.
I recall my experience! I had zero spiritual something in water baptism. I think it was useless and didn't make me separated to God

Thank God for the Holy Spirit. The New testament primarily the Pauline epistles are what the Spirit uses to reveal to His church what truth is. READ the bible for yourself, stop being spiritually lazy. Revelation comes from God through his revealed word. The letter kills (law) the spirit (word of God) imparts Life !

That's right! Telling people that Bible is Holy someway lead to the conclusion that God is dead now because He was alive 2000 years ago according to the Bible
