- Here is my first trail ride and review with the Powerfly. Watch the whole video, decent wreck footage around minute 12.
This thing is fun. Goes up hills like a beast. Fun, fun, fun. Did I say Fun.
Can't wait to get better and more familiar with it. Thanks for watching. Post subscribe, leave a comment. and give us a thumbs up.
I know this is a long video, probably too long. But, there are those like myself, that will be interested from start to finish.
Have a great night, and God Blesd.
WOW! That was a rough trail! Love it! Ha! Might try this one also! Thanks so much for sharing and God bless you too!
Hey, boss, great video. Sorry for the fall. But as you said, it's part of the fun and the learning process. Thank God you didn't get hurt. Keep "Trekn" brother
I had watched this on my I pad but rewatching it again on 60 inch 4K really brings out the scenery. Having fallen myself I could really emphasize with your injury, battery loss but still soldiering on. A real inspiration. In 121 days and a wake up I join the retirement boomers and will certainly watch this again to motivate my new life. Subscribed, liked, and shared today.
You’re awesome for the nice comments. I have a few years to go, but looking forward to it.
Nice video. Thanks for the sharing, glad you're ok!
Thanks for watching. Have a blessed night.
Thanks for the video and good for you for not editing out the crash, that’s part of the fun. Looking forward to more videos while I wait for my PowerFly
Thanks Buddy for the kind words. 👍 Have another one editing now. Also need to make one on the Powerfly 4's gearing. Received a comment I need to dispute. If you can subscribe. Thanks again.
You need a dropper seat post. I had a similar crash that broke a rib. It makes riding trails a lot safer. Thanks for the video keep up the content thanks
Got one. Just a week later.
merci pour le partage 💪🤩👍 force de Brussels 💪😎
One of my favorite trails to ride around Klamath, definitely interested in trying out the ebike! Cool video, you crashed pretty close to where I had my endo 6 years ago.😁 luckily you didn't do to much damage, besides the lost tool and battery.
Thanks for easygoing David, ya we'll have to get you on one.
I’ve been watching a lot of videos on e-bikes and getting pretty convinced I need to get one. Lots of the enduro guys and stuff throwing these around the trails and it looks like a blast. Then I saw yours and realized this is a lot more like what my experience is going to be being an out of shape older fat dude, so this video has been really useful. I still want to get one and go out and ride even though I’m gonna be a lot more like you than all the other youngsters whipping around the trails. Good on you and keep enjoying it!
Thanks for the nice comments. Although out of shape fat dude was blunt. lol. They are great. I have 4 or 5 videos out on my bike. Check them out. Let me know how you are coming along getting one. Hope the wait isn’t too long.
I have the PowerFly 4 that I bought last year (my wife has the Allant 7S). I'm 64/65, had an older 7100 and then a Verve3 but with the terrain/elevation changes around our home we were both struggling to be able to ride very far/very long in order to get any physical benefit. The Ebike changed all of that. Unfortunately, my riding came to a halt last fall when my wife had a fall on hers and wound up ultimately requiring ankle surgery. We always ride together and when she wasn't able to ride, I just didn't make the effort to go by myself. Re-starting the process this summer, at least for me; it's not clear yet if she will ride again.
Her fall did make a believer out of me in regard to hand, elbow and knee protection (all we had was helmets); if we had had the additional protective equipment then and had it on it is unlikely she'd have been much more than just upset at the fall. As it was, she was skinned up pretty good and took a hard hit on her knee and ankle when she couldn't get away from the bike. We have gotten the protective equipment since then, I wear it religiously now since I've had one knee surgery and have no desire to have another if it is avoidable.
Clayton, I would like to pray for your wifes ankle and both of you continue riding for health. Just take it easy and go one day at a time. You’re doing the best thing you can for better health. God Bless you guys and thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great night.
FALLING! My greatest fear when my wife and I resume biking after a 30 year hiatus for children and career.
Almost lost it ...good save
Did you see where I didn't save it?
Still watching it

Dang ... pretty good wack on your leg trail looks kinda rough I would of dumped it to
@@geraldrobinson8245 it was very fun though.
Bike is really cool
This was awesome! I think you should start a new company and rent these things out for people around Klamath Falls. This is getting me excited to be coming up there here in a few weeks from So Cal. I just hope the fires don’t get too crazy with the smoke. The day that you filmed it whenever it was looks like a great clear day when was it?
Filmed today. Zack's bikes in town rents them. Don't know how much though. Lol me up and we'll tear up the trails. 😆
Are you still living in KFalls? I just moved here would love to meet someone to ride with and show me the trails in the area. I'm a beginner.
You went hardtail over full suspension??
Sooo...I totally can identify with the crash ...I wonder if having a dropper post would help. On rocky terrain, its nice to be able to lower my elevation on the bike. I’m 65 and 6’2” ...sitting up high and kinda losing balance, and tipping can be scary at my age. How has the bike held p? Still happy with it? I just bought one and plan will pick it up in a few days. I bought a lil larger rims and 2.6 tires for it. I gotta have a dropper post ...
I gave added a dropper post. Helps a lot. The bike is still like new, no problems. It’s been my best investment. You’ll enjoy. Thanks for watching.
Did you see my crash? Lots of fun.
What is your next adventure
Another trail up there. Maybe tomorrow evening.
