I'm just over half way through this course. Overall it's great, really easy to digest bite size information so far and I'm sure the certificate paired up with a strong portfolio will be powerful to either hiring managers or potential clients. My only criticism so far is that course 4 is pretty damn slow and really could have focused on using tools such as Maze rather than making us put together spreadsheets that could've just been an affinity diagram from the start. Aside from that it's a great course and I'd recommend this as a starting point for any aspiring UX designer.

For ex: why would I have shadow 2dp or maybe have an icon down than on top. So, what I am trying to say is the architectural aspects of design. I mean I just put anything anywhere, and make it look good but theoretically is that correct. Do you know any sources I can learn theoretical aspects of building design architect ? I found material design by google but do share if you have more.

Im in the 5th course and honestly so far as a beginner in design this course has really been a big help and is very well structured for beginners. Personally what i feel that is lacking in this course is that there's no real feedback from peers. I write at-least 5 lines for every assignment I review and all I get back is one word review. Which is really bad one more thing is people rent actually putting in efforts to make their design better or do the bare minimum. Just yesterday i checked 5 assignments and out of 5 i rejected 4 cause they just want Upto the mark and had lot of mistakes.

I am starting course 6, and while I’ve learned a good bit so far, I feel like that missing valuable feedback makes this course feel not as well-rounded as it can be. And discussion forum interactions are hit or miss. Though I’ve learned most UX knowledge independently, I’m considering other one-off courses or a mentorship for this lack of feedback reason.
If you’d like an accountability partner or need more constructive feedback on your design, I’m glad to provide!

15 - 20 years back all this certification courses had some value now in the present world at the rate the technologies and software are getting upgraded these certification courses are just waste of time. These UI/UX designing is simple stuff but the way people have exaggerated it as though it is a rocket science, What ever course you complete and certificate you get from which ever institute you get it from end of the day you have to listen to the person who has no knowledge about UI/UX that is your Client/Boss/PM/TL, LoL. Just google the topic which you want to learn and just go through it as and when it is needed on the requirement . While searching for jobs all these certificates are of no use now. I am sharing this with 18 years of experience as UI/UX/Graphic Designer..
