So, I feel that, on behalf of our rap scene and story that it holds we need to explain some stuff. Serbia went through crisis and some tough times ever since it was founded, we as a country and people went through around 350 years of slavery of sort under Turkish empire, later was in strategic geographical point in both ww1 and ww2 so we suffered a lot in that period and we as a people adopted tough mentality, it could be compared to Irish or Scottish tough as nails and one against all mentality so most of our rap is either ironic/sarcastic rap (Ajs Nigrutin etc), underground/street rap (Smoke etc) , political/peoples rap(Beogradski sindikat) , gangsta/criminal rap(Thcf etc) because you're born and raised either on streets, in famine and poverty, during war times etc. If you just take word for word and translate them lyrics won't make much sense because we use a lot of our slang and since our formation of sentences is a lot different than it is in English it is hard to get a point through translation. Btw if you wish I could translate and put some context along side lyrics in future for you because I love your vids and vibe and it really would be a shame for you not to experience the story most of these songs carry
