  • The whole version of Let It Go in 25 languages with the actual lyrics, romaji (where needed), and the English translation :)
Personally, I only speak English, Spanish, some Mandarin and Swedish (and understand Norwegian and Danish)... But I searched for the translations to the other languages on youtube and other websites or have had friends help me translate :) However, I did have some difficulties with the translation at one point... so if you notice that something is wrong, then please tell me in the comments :)
Other than that, enjoy the video ^^
DISCLAIMER: I own NOTHING in this video and a lot of the translations weren't my doing, I simply put it all together to make it easier ;)

Then these are okay to do, but not perfect: Latin American Spanish, Hungarian, Chinese Mandarin, Castilian Spanish, Catalan, Italian, Portugese, Danish, Bulgarian, Norwegian x'D
The rest is pure guessing.... Though I managed some of them quite well I think x'D

    this is malaysia lyric
    Salju putih menutupi malam
    Tiada jejak yang terlihat
Kerajaan yang terasing dan akulah ratunya
    Hembusan bayu bak gelora jiwaku
    Puasku cuba tuk memendamnya
    Jangan sampai mereka tahu
    Harus menjadi yang diharapkan
    Lindungilah yang sebenar
    Kini aku
    Bebaskan bebaskan
    Tak mampu bertahan lagi
    Bebaskan bebaskan
    Tidak seperti dulu
    Di sini berdiri megah
    Bebaskan bebaskan
    Kedinginan tak pernah menggangguku
Kini dapatku lihat jelas dari kejauhan
Ketakutan terpendam telah dapat ku lepaskan
    Diatas kedinginan ku bernyawa lagi
Kisah silam ku lepaskan tak mungkin ku sesali
    Bebaskan bebaskan
    Tak mampu bertahan lagi
    Bebaskan bebaskan
    Ku cuba sedayaku
    Di sini berdiri megah
    Kedinginan tak pernah menggangguku
    kuasaku buat hidupku celaru,
    jiwaku membeku pecah bekecai,
dan ku sangka kristal seperti crystal blast.
ku takkan pulang, pada masa lalu,
    bebaskan, bebaskan,
    menutupi waktu senja,
    bebaskan bebaskan,
    gadis yang sempurna dah hilang,
    di sini, didalam sinaran cahaya,
    biarkan ribut berlalu,
    Kedinginan tak pernah menggangguku

As for the translation of the Polish line - the one given in the video is very literal. In the song this line has a metaphorical meaning so a more suitable translation would be: "I can do this against other people's will". It has nothing to do with being rich as in having enough money to do something but rather to have enough courage or other qualities to be capable of doing something. Just wanted to clarify that :)

THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS TOGETHER. I wanted to know for a while what it all must sound like to someone who'd know all the languages. Whether it'd sound repetitious, ridiculous, absolutely lost in translation... Granted, since it's back in the only language I speak fluently, there probably IS something lost in translation, but from what I see, it's still pretty comprehensible. :)

"Difetto" in English can be "lack" or "fault" (and other word, according to Google Translate).
"Lack" means "something missing", but here "Difetto" means "an unsatisfactory feature in a person's character". So a better word is fault, instead lack.

So way back when i would watch your video over and over again,i would replay one language's part until i believed i got it, using google translate to hear another pronunciation of some of the lyrics that weren't clear to me. • @krystaloftheshores
      @krystaloftheshores Před 10 lety +2

I think that that was the point. They probably wanted to hire singers that sounded like the same person as best as they could, and when they made this mashup, they put the parts in that sounded most like the same voice. But they truly are different. It's cool that they really do sound the same, huh? :D

    • @leightkd9311
      @leightkd9311 Před 10 lety

krystaloftheshores lol I just listened to this for the heck of it and haven't really seen the movie. I was impressed that they all sounded so similar (of course Dutch and German are the same girl) but OTHER THAN THAT... That is one thing about shows that get translated to English, especially in anime's. It seems like they don't try to get people who sound similar, but I guess they get what they can get. You can tell the people who hired these girls tried their hardest.

Something I did to learn this was listen to the song and write it out how it sounded to me, with a little help from the actual words. I know I'm probably not getting some of the pronunciations right but maybe that could work for some other people. After all, it's not that people are trying to learn how to WRITE the song in different languages. :D

"Un royaume de solitude, ma place est là pour toujours"
A kingdom of loneliness, my place is here forever.
"Un royaume de solitude m'a placé là pour toujours."
A kingdom of loneliness has placed me here forever.
Both sound incredibly similar, but I think the former is what's in the song.

I speak dutch, maybe this will help you with the pronunciation of the Dutch part:
      Actual lyrics:
Het werd mij te veel, hoe ik mijn best ook deed
Don't pronounce the e in 'het', 'werd' & 'best' like how you would in 'te', 'veel' & 'deed'
We call this long and short e's (I don't know if you call it like that in English, too..)
You pronounse the ij in 'mij' & 'mijn' like a ai, but just shorter spoken
