I would recommend getting an original made in germany floyd rose and upgrading it with some of the fu-tone titanium hardware as well as a big brass block. Its alot cheaper than buying a whole titanium trem and gives the same stability

@mitchavedon another option i would check out would be the sophia 2:92. Fits just like a floyd and you dont have to clip the ball ends, and their signature global tuner brass block is insane

I haven't played any of the more recent models but Jackson makes quality guitars so I can imagine they're pretty sick

I have a Jackson King V Pro, ( I don't use any tremolo bars BTW). When I was in the market for a guitar, it was between a Gibson Flying V new and a Jackson King V Pro new. Anyways, there was no comparison. The Gibson was horrible. It did not feel right and the sustain was mediocre. The feel was cheap for the $2400.00 they were asking for it. This is not what I remember the Flying V being like. So I took the King V for a drive and fell in love with it right away. It has EMG 81 85 PUP's on it and I played it through a Marshall JCM 800 (which is what I use at home 50 watt head). Heaven on earth is all I can say. I still have the Jackson 2 years later and would never trade in this guitar for anything. I recently came into a little bit of money so I went back to another place to try out another Gibson Flaying V thinking maybe that was a bad V I had tried before. I was just as disappointed with this one as I was the previous Gibson V. Could not locate another King V Pro in my area, so anyways, I ended up buying instead, a Smith & Wesson Model 29, 6 1/2 inch barrel revolver. Morale of the story, you cant go wrong with a Jackson King V.
