over a year later, but i’m going to be in matilda! this was so fun to watch!
I just auditioned for a regional theater production of Matilda! The set was just beautiful, cause they had a little of it there and the piano player was awesome. Cant wait for the cast list!
I've just been cast into my very first musical theater performance! I'm very excited to begin the process of rehearsals and performances as this is my first time ever doing a show and performing. Hope you had fun on Matilda!

in my theatre classes we have a tech rehearsal, a dress rehearsal, and then the actual performance!! I hope I can start to level up (if that makes sense) to a more professional theatre company:) you’re an inspiration!!
I did matilda earlier this year and I miss it so much!

Same! I’m 8 months late and I’m really happy because, I’m going back to theatre! I love theatre it’s my passion. (I’m going on January 9th!) The next show I’m going to is the Addams family 💙🦋
I play Matilda in my local musical it is so fun but when you are done its quit sad

I played Amanda Thripp in Matilda a few weeks ago at my school. Such a fun show and I miss it so much! (Also the girl who played amanda looks so cute!)

My high school is doing Matilda this coming school year (April of 2023 is when we'd perform) and I'm trying for Matilda! Wish me luck when auditions come around!

@@dancingthroughlife8408 I ended up getting miss honey! It was such a good experience! So many kids wanted pictures and autographs, many people I didn't even know said I did great! Such a good experience and I'm so glad I did it :)

What’s a tech rehearsal? I’m kind of new to theater so I don’t know
A tech rehearsal is when the cast rehearses in the theatre and adds the technical elements: lighting, sound... and usually props, costumes, hair, makeup, etc!

they just did a regional production here in the bay area and it ran for a month
I imagine it was nine performances over three weekends. It’s typical to have shows Friday/Saturday nights and Saturday matinees

@@verityjude2269 lol I mean I c an kind of sing and act but when I was 8 I was in aladdin and part was just to run across the stage with a loaf of bread and I dropped it and scresmed
