9 years old yet it looks better exterior+interier(also better quality) than the Golf 8. VW isn't the VW we knew at that time. Now it's all about cutting cost. Such a shame. Golfs were great cars.
Golf 6 is the OG. 7 is okay and 8 is terrible. They really messed up the design. same for BMWs. As far i know Mercedes is the one of the only still doing amazing jobs with their interiors and exteriors.
I only manage anything below 6l/100km when driving on the highway at 90km/h and below in the 1.6tdi Jetta 6. Drive normally at 120-140km/h and I get 6.7l/100km and above. Short trips around town & traffic and I average over 7l/100km, and that's driving slowly with soft acceleration. Also it is such a faulty engine as mentioned.

The only cars ive driven are a golf 6 1.4, fiesta 1.25 and 1.5 tdci and my polo 6r 1.0 mpi and this car is the nicest ride out of all of them.

Not the best engine but... it does the job. A friend of mine has the 1.4 tsi. Not reliable tho.
I have 1.4 122 HP, 102.000 km on the clock and it is relaible. I had to replace water pump only.

Mine is 2010 and on a 22km range i have 6-7l/100km consumption , 1 week + few days (44km everyday) and my tank is about empty.
Same year 1.6/105hp 5,5L/100km
