what size? i've always felt that the noise brings in fish and even if i am pulling all squids, i will pull one of these as well. other days, this is the only thing getting hit.
Hello Zachary, thank you for your interest, I get many questions about this bait but as you have seen in the movie I had more sucess in filming than in catching... I fished it without any weights, even in highspeed where ist was running perfectly under the whitewater produced by the engines. I fish with braid so i used a fluo Carbon shockleder about 5 meters long in 80lbs to the camera and 1 1/2meters in 50lbs between Bait and Camera.
Hey Peter, Thank you for your feedback. Take a look to my other underwater videos and you will see that this is happening with every other trolled lure too. I think the monotone movement of the bait with no flee reaction even with a praditor in his back makes it uninteresting for them.
you don’t need planers for the bonita. They produce to much pressure on your gear when you drive fast and you need a very long leeder. Don’t like the Idea of handlining a Wahoo
Hey Rybak! Das Vorfach war zwischen 1,8 und 2m. Die Fische waren an den Tagen der Aufnahmen super passiv, Wetterumschwung ...die Tage davor hatte es bei dem Tempo noch gut gescheppert, denke die monotone Köderführung und ja vielleicht auch das Tempo, beim Wahoo ganz bestimmt...Grüße!
@@bastardmakrele9229 Hey,! Ok, ja hab auch Vorfächer bis 2,2m gefischt, geht noch gut mit größeren Ködern, bei kleineren sieht man dann nur einen Strich/Punkt. Wie schnell (also Knoten) schleppst du auf Wahoo? Ich hab bis jetzt nur in der Adria geschleppt (am Meer) und da ist der Bonito derjenige der schnelle Köder mag, so 4-6 Knoten ist ok. Gruß
Wir haben viel mit Tempo experimentiert, waren aber im Schnitt zwischen 6-9 Knoten auf Pelagics unterwegs. Der Wahoo war bei ca. 10 Knoten, und du siehst das er bei dem Tempo völlig souverän und le´ger mitschwimmt....wenn das Boot es packt würde ich das beim nächste mal mit 12-16 Knoten versuchen
Con este video queda demostrado que el señuelo fuese más efectivo..si este no hiciera tanto ruido..Sólo veamos la reacción dé los peces depredadores..se le acercan con temor..a pesar que la presa es pequeña..cuando es sabido que el depaedador si ya tiene la mitad dé su tamaño lo devora.. Este señuelo dé buena marca.calidad..fuera más efectivo si se le redujera el ruido en un 95 % como minimo..solo bastaría dejarle los dos juegos dé anzuelos. .con ese pequeño ruido..los depredadores no tubiesen temor dé atacarlo..ya que asumirán que no representa peligro.. En el agua..ese ruido a dé ser ensordesedor u las vibraciones enloquesedoras..ya que las ondas del sonido se aumenta en el agua..por consiguiente las ondas que golpean al pez an dé ser fuertes..ya que todo pez tienen reseptores en todo su cuerpo... DEMASIADO RUIDO..AULLENTA LA PRESA...
Gracias por tu análisis. Creo que tu teoría es buena, hasta ahora pensé que era por el lento y monótono movimiento. Puede ver que no se estimulan los reflejos para un ataque. Estoy trabajando en una película con un pez de goma blanda en este momento ... Tengo curiosidad por saber qué piensas al respecto.

Sometimes off shore you may not get that much action in a day, so you need hookups on the fish that go for it. Wahoo like baits running fast

hello, I didn´t use a cable, I used just a fluo carbon shock leader with a swivel- spring connection to the bonita.
Do you use a trolling weight at all with this lure? Also what would you recommend of leader to the lure. Wire or heavy mono and how much

the wahoos were about as impressed as i was.
Wahoo will chase lures while High Speed Trolling for miles before they strike if they do at all! This is a wahoo catcher for sure!
