- While Clustertruck is being speedrun at Summer Games Done Quick, Landfall games takes over the stream and starts messing around with the game.
People are not realizing this, so I will pin this: Landfall didn't randomly come and "ruin" the run, they asked Ace beforehand if it was fine to do so
But they ruined it.

But it is said specifically at the top that the deva asked the player beforehand if they can. It may have ruined the "speedrun" experience, but it sure is a fun surprise.
I see it like the Valve Rocket Launcher in TF2. Is it horribly unfair in a "competitive" sense? Yes. Is it a fun time for everyone involved? Absolutely.

Landfall has messed with streamers before using twitch integration. This was probably set up, but they have secret commands set up so they can go to any twitch integrated cluster truck stream and mess with it

He submitted a faked run in a category he had pretty much agreed to leave to someone else in order to get in. He then admitted it and then denied it while being a total prick about it.

it's the developers of the game doing this through a thing called "twitch integration", where the chat on twitch.tv can vote for effect in the game. the developers, landfall games, have access to special commands and can have text appear on screen, along with all the other effects seen in the video.

What did they do? If you're talking about them "ruining" the run, they didn't. It wasn't a valid speed run anyways because they had the settings so that the twitch chat could modify the game anyways. The devs asked permission beforehand from Ace and GDQ to make sure it was alright.
