Great video im still in the process of modding my 2is 250. you're a real one for providing your mods some ppl out there gate keep like why :/ Also do you have a cat delete and do you have a tune for the car? cause Ive heard you need a tune and a cat delete to get pops
No worries brotha. I get pops naturally cause it’s the is350 but it’s not a lot. I don’t have my cat deleted nor a tune. It’s just a muffler delete and the 1792 vibrant resonator with 4 inch muffler tips
Don't DO THIS. It's still going to drone for days. I know because I did the exact same thing. Only difference is i fitted a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator in place of my OEM one and it's still crazy droney and sounds a bit like a tin can up top. I'd rather keep OEM resonator and remove the secondary cats to replace with x2 more Resonators. Should be triple resonator setup, you'll still get the pops and massively reduce drone while keeping the volume decently high.
How is sound with the the 2 more resonators where the secondary cats are? Can I get a video of the sound? or if u could send me a video on IG or something
When you realize you've made a mistake because of how much drone you have in the cabin, go and buy the vibrant ultra quiet resonator. It still has a good grunt, definitely not as loud but the cabin doesn't sound like shit.
I have the Vibrant Ultra Quiet and same setup as this guy and it still drones. Going uphill on a windy road is going to drive you nuts. I bought x2 more resonators to hopefully bring it under control. Fitting them next week.
It really depends on what you’re looking for, if you really wanna hear that V6 then get the regular 1792 like I did but if you wanna be more casual I’d say get the ultra quiet
@@kymron volume is not an issue for me, id just like to make sure that I don't get any more drone than I do than with the stock resonator, could you tell me a bit more on it?
i ran this set up for over a year never got pulled over. but you gunna wanna change your resonator because its annoying to drive with. hella drone at cruisning speeds.
With the resonator it’s not bad in my opinion. It’s definitely not as quiet as when the car was stock but it’s not too loud because I still daily drive it.
Yes it is noisy. I have same setup. I replaced my stock resonator with Vibrant Ultra Quiet. Bro, its going to drone and the drone is going to drive you nuts. Maybe not intially but after the break in period, going on windy mountain roads uphill, the drone is headache inducing. I put up with it for a few months and I'm going to fit x2 more resonators to hopefully reduce it a lot.
Yes the drone is going to get really annoying. I have exact setup and I've reached a point where I need to get rid of it now. I'm fitting x2 more resonators to hopefully kill it off completely. Also NO music does not dampen the drone. I have my Mark Levinson sound at high volume and I can still hear the drone through whatever music I'm playing. You're going to find that very annoying.
This is a muffler and resonator delete and replaced with a bottle vibrant resonator. U got rid of the oem resonator, therefore its a resonator delete too...just saying
@@blackpanda7612 buddy but a bottle resonator doesnt have all the insulation of an oem or quiet resonator. So ok lets put it this way. OEM resonator delete. Replaced with an aftermarket louder one. Im just trying to clear things up because people will expect your results by keeping the oem resonator which you dont explain that you dont have the oem one anymore.

will the 1792 2.5inch inlet fit a 3.5l v6 gs350?

hello I wanted to ask you but with this modification there is no loss of power at the base regimes
No it feels the same or faster if I’m being honest, I don’t notice any power loss
Any plant on doing 4is front bumper conversion?
I do like it so yea, if I don’t get a 440i lol
where can i get those pipes where the mufflers are suppose to be? i cant find them anywhere
I just went to the shop and they got it for me, I only brought the muffler tips.
Most shops will have it you don’t usually get that yourself.

@@blackpanda7612 well, did 3 resonators fix the low rpm drone?

I got a muffler delete and vibrant resonator on my IS 250 but no pops frfr. Sounds clean tho
What size muffler tips do you have?
Regardless tho I think the is350 is most likely going to pop more bcz it’s a bigger engine
@@kymron Well I kept the stock exhaust tips which might have some reason for it. Youre right tho, it could be cause the 3.5 is bigger than the 2.5
@@lexus_250_mari8 mine only pops when i switch to second gear but i gotta hit like 7000 rpms
@@view13s8 Oh that makes perfect sense then
Do you regret your decision at all?
I live in cali, think i will get a ticket if i get this?
Probably
Most likely tbh lol, I shouldn’t even have it.
But just try to do the speed limit so you wont rlly have a reason to be pulled over

And I got a ticket for just thinking about getting an exhaust
i ran this set up for over a year never got pulled over.

will you hear pops on is250
Maybe without a resonator
what size is the vibrant resonator?
2.5”
