I like how it looks, and thanks to Sonic 1, I now associate the color purple with marble, it does look quite nice. Not the biggest fan of how it plays, but it's fine. The zone's name is stupid tho. Watch: - Green Hill (name of the place, also describes what it is) - Spring Yard (same as above) - Labyrinth (literally a labyrinth) - Starlight (could be the name of the city itself) - Scrap Brain (a weirder name, but it sounds like a plausible name of the whole place) - Marble is just a f*cking rock type. It could've been called SO many things: Marble Ruins, Marble Site, Marble Quarry, Marble Hill, Marble Cavern... but nope. Just Marble. Imagine the conversations: "Hey dude, where you at?" "Oh, I'm in Green Hill, and you?" "Oh, I'm in Marble." "...you're inside a rock?"
i think it looked even better in the beta screenshots, a bunch of weird 3D shapes floating, lava going through the walls etc it just looked so surreal and otherwordly

I think they sound fine. I think the 'echo' effect in Marble Zone's track is kinda underrated. Don't get me wrong though , I LOVE what Mastered Realm has done.

I won’t. All I’ll say is that they recycled Green Hills grass for Marble. They didn’t even have the decency to optimise the tiles, those bastards!
