There’s also a way to do the slow down kill thing, but you don’t take damage as Steve. It’s a pretty hard setup but it works.

@@pokemaster2352 no impact landing and some other tricks here are extremely useful bro. But to learn him you should watch another video. To master him, this video is pretty good. Sure, some tricks are just funny and casual but here are many things that will learn you to master him ( for example NIL and to press the pressure plate under the platform).
When you get better with him you should go back here.

This is really a testament to how seriously they took designing Steve for smash; most of this is possible because they put actual physics on everything rather than just hitboxes and call it a day.
Stuff like this is why a playable fighter in smash is such a night deal over a skin in fortnite

My favorite little Steve trick is when you stand on top of a TNT, do a down smash, then mash airdodge. Steve won't get hit.

This stuff is more difficult than u might think. The dirt disappears too quickly for the cart launch when u want and ure spacing is very precise.
I have no idea how they made their dirt last longer.
This is cool and all, but I’d really like to see a “[Number] Basic Steve Setups” because I am a really bad with Steve lol.

Man Steve is so cool, I understand why everyone in competitive smash hates on him but like come on, this stuff is pretty cool, you can get so creative with him. It’s just a shame how much backlash he gets because of how people play him.
Base Minecraft: Very easy to pick up for all gamers of different skill levels
Minecraft in Smash: Very difficult and technical, not for the faint of heart

Steve is easily my favorite character in Smash. I was having trouble containing my excitement when he was revealed because I was in Science class at the time (I finished my work, so I was fine).

Some little things wrong here and there but a nice showcase nonetheless. Even though there's tricks I know that you didn't go over, I still learned some things from this video. There's always more to learn and practice when you're a Steve main.

As a Steve main I can say that some of this is useful in game as it catches people off guard with some of the cast not having counter play for his setups

I’ve been in training for an like an hour just doing the cart launch
these 1st ones are SO OVERLY COMPLEX when literally all i do is place a block behind me, and then power rail into said block.
by boosting away from the opponent, then hitting the block you placed, the cart bounces off the block pretty much into a 2nd boost and 9 times out of 10 people get hit by it because of how much it throws most people off.
Seriously. takes a fraction of the time, resources, and skill to pull off, for a much more reliable trick. xD
