Things don't get settled down after İbrahim Pasha's death.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah isn't a friend. She challenges her enemies after having Suleiman in her corner. She lays on entertainment in the harem as it's still being mourned for İbrahim Pasha. This drives Hatice to distraction. As Mihrimah gets disappointed by Yahya of Taşlıca's attitude, Malkoçoğlu Bali Bey returns in İstanbul. He informs Suleiman that it will be attempted to assassinate him. Hatice vows vengeance against Hürrem and gets Diana in the harem to kill her.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah has different aims and doesn't wait for too long to get her claws out. She lays on entertainment in a harem after a short time İbrahim died. Hatice loses her temper after learning this and comes into the harem to stop it.
Malkoçoğlu gets attacked on his way to the capital. However, he and his men manage to get over the attack. On the other hand, the effect of İbrahim's death continues. The Pope thinks that Suleiman is left alone and takes an action to end him.

Suleiman allowed the festivities. They don't show here but in the conversation between Hurrem and Suleiman 6:01 later on it's clear that she asked for his permission and he allowed it. Hurrem was very clever in how she put it across Suleiman, the idea that not having the festivities as usual because of the traitor's death (Ibrahim) might seem as a sign of weakness or even as a regretful execution and as a Emperor Suleiman cannot afford anyone questioning his decisions nor showing any weakness except in front of his beloved wife ofcourse.

I don't understand what hatice expected tbh. Hurrem has the right to do whatever she wants in her palace. Also Ibrahim wasn't related to hurrem in any way it form. So he's just distant so the mourning period for everyone for him is 3 days and after that they cannot continue to mourn . Hurrem shouldn't even have stayed for the three days but she did. Hatice shouldn't expect the world to drown just because she is.

This is what I miss about old Hurrem. They have a very strong chemistry together. The neq Hurrem is very good with her acting too but doesn't have the same level of chemistry with Suleiman like the old Hurrem had.

What did Hatice expect? Hurrem was absolutely right. If they mourned Ibrahim’s death it would be equal to defying Suleyman’s decision. As subjects, defying their monarch’s decision is punishable by death so as a member of the dynasty how can Hatice not understand even this bit? I guess its for the entertainment…

Suleyman is someone who can see where is fake and loyal person to him. As he can see the pure heart and loyalty of hurrem given to him, but why he cant see that on mustafa? His own blood! Maybe thats because he felt the insecure of mustafa being someone he can't recognize anymore as his late father (sultan selim dethrone his grandfather 'sultan bayezid) to get the throne. Moreover, mustafa had under full control the military and he has so many reasons to revenges.

Suleiman the Magnificent was probably the only Ottoman sultan who put his wife in such high pedestal, he loved her so much. The show was definitely good but it didn't do them much justice, because Suleiman was super loyal to Hurrem according to historians. They actually downplayed Hurrem and Mhirima's powers in the series, when in reality they did so much more.
