In life, there are many unsung heros (no pun intended). I can't say that Paal is unsung, but he is a bit like George Harrison of The Beatles in the sense that he stays in the back-ground and does a great deal of the heavy lifting. A-ha owes more to Paal than even many fans will know. In the musical world, time and again certain acts are a magical synergy of creative people. Take for instance Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays. Paal and Magne are more together than the sum of their parts. Thank you Bridges for being the musical foundation of A-ha. I know Morten thanks you too. A heart-felt thank you from fans everywhere.
Amen! I always love comments that talk about Pål and Magne’s talent. Many times it feels like people forget or act like Morten himself is A-Ha . Also all the comments about Morten’s looks…geez people, the man has a talent, he can actually sing and it’s pretty amazing! I know, crazy huh? He’s not just there to be a sex object to ogle at! Go figure 🤷🏻♀️🙄
I think these three talents give their best together. I've followed their solo careers too and loved them all. Yet, nothing compared to A-ha's repertoire. Both Pål and Magne have written breathless songs (Morten, too), so deep in the lyrics and stunning in the melodies. They wouldn't have had such an impact without Morten's voice and his way of using his 'gift', so I can't really say this one is better than that one. The magical atmosphere we can breath is always created by Morten, Pål, Magne=A-ha❣
Blown away by the fact the 2 of them composed the song. Without Mags, it turned to be something different than A-ha songs that we know. Sad, beautiful, and unique melody.

Great video and pictures. I think people see them as not that close for the most part but They were actually the ones that wanted the band back together. Morten had visited Pal in NY a couple times and he had written some songs for a-ha and showed them to Morten and they started working on them together, just the 2 of them initially. Then they got Magne to join them.

Pal is the soul of the band. A modern time's genius in music world. I believe that the trio is a perfect balance of the band. Beautiful!
