Yes Justin was part of Nsync and they were among the most successful musical acts in history. This song "Bye Bye Bye" was a massive success and was played round the clock and was everywhere.
Justin and JC started on a little show called THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB. They were on it with Britney Spears, Xtina, Ryan Gossling, Kerry Russell, and others. Like, 30 years ago.
JC is the best male vocalist to come out of ANY boyband in history. Man got a 4 octave range. You shocked Justin was from Nsync, you’d be even more shocked how even in this day most people who try and cover JC’s parts fail miserably (or have to change the range in order to sing his parts).
The reason Justin is way more successful than JC is because of producers. Justin worked with Pharrell and Timbaland throughout his solo career

Back in the 90's man, I was like 13years old when they first started. They were HUGE back then and honestly; I still enjoy listening to their music on repeat and I'm 40 years old now. LOL Backstreet boys were good too.
I went to their concert when I was 13 lol, so long ago now D: wasn't that great though since we were in the nosebleed section and couldn't really see them, not to mention all the deafening screams of other teenage girls :D

You not knowing the group and that Justin was in there makes me feel old and I'm not even old 😂. There were so many good groups back then, even rap groups like Pharrel being in N.E.R.D. Justin blew up and all his solo songs were just amazing hits. There's always been that big debate from the older generation about whether Backstreet Boys or NSYNC were better. Like...it's one thing to not have listened to it by-choice, but even in passing, you had to have lived under a rock in the early 2000's to not have heard some of the biggest songs ever of that time. Bye Bye Bye catapulted the "No Strings Attached" *NSYNC album to the fastest selling album of all time until I think Adelle beat the record in the early 2010's.

Also, the name of the groups is pronounced "In Sync." Like they're "in sync" with each other. N-SYNC. The name is actually an acronym made up of the last letters of each of their first names (is). N - Justin, S - Chris, Y - Joey, N - Lansten (okay, so the bass was originally a guy name Jason but he quit early on and was replaced by Lance Bass who they nicknamed "Lansten" so that they could keep the N), and finally C - JC. Just a fun fact. :)

I was never an actual fan of either of them, but I always liked them more than Take That or Caught in the Act (which were pretty popular in Germany in the 90s as well). But my most favourite pop/boy bands were Westlife and Boyzone. Still am a huge Westlife fan to this day.

*Nsync was and STILL IS my favorite group!! I still listen to their music without guilt! ❤ They gave me so so so many incredible memories with friends and their concerts were hype AF!! My room was covered in the posters, had tshirts, all their CD’s, would record on VHS anytime they were on TV for a special. I mean my school supplies were all *Nsync themed!!! It was serious! 😅

Now THAT made me feel old, because I remember my friend's siblings going nuts over that whole thing, and I was already out of high school four years by then.
I stumbled across this video and being a HUGE NSYNC fan, I had to watch. I love how enthusiastic you are when listening to this song. It made my heart happy. The reason they’re called NSYNC (like n sink) is because each letter represents the last letter in their first names (Lance wasn’t an OG member so his name is replaced with someone else. N (Justin) S (Chris) Y (Joey) N (Jason - this guy was before they even released their first single) and C (JC). Please listen to the rest of their stuff; Pop is my fave NSYNC song. I was a teenager when they were at the height of their career as a group and they provide me with some of my happiest memories. I miss them.

Yes ..Justin was part of a boyband , it's pronounced like In Sync ,like synchronized, my girls had posters of them & The Backstreet Boys plastered all over their walls , I actually got so tired of hearing them constantly 😂😂😂 They even had VHS tapes if their vids & my girls made me watch everytime.

Info dump from what I've gleaned over the years:
JC (the guy who sang the first verse for those who are unfamiliar with the band) did try to become a solo artist, however it was the same time all the promoters were set on promoting Justin, JC got swept under. When his song "Blowin' Me Up (with Her Love)" for the movie Drumline came out, there was some serious buzz about him doing a second solo album, which he freely admitted he hadn't been thinking of at the time, however the second album, believed to be called Kate or If you See Kate (I believe this was 2007) he walked away from it. There's several (and I mean like nearly the full album's worth) of the songs I've found here on CZcams. Some of them have been picked up by other artists-for example "Teenage Wildlife" is now on AJ McLean's solo album "Have It All". Glossing over his few TV appearances and judging on "So You Think You Can Dance", JC has since gone on to work behind the scenes and has even started up *not sure that's the right word* a girl group called Girl Radical. He says he's more content behind the scenes. Which to me is an absolute shame. His voice talent is amazing.
