The text of Wahamba signifies a past tense event and represents a joyful celebration of “rough times” that are over. "Wahamba Nathi” was performed for the first time in March 2020 just before the horrific pandemic occurred. On a personal note, I arranged this piece as I was facing a personal health crisis. “I survived my personal crisis and the world has lived through the Covid19 world crisis! We continue to move forward with a positive and bright future.
