Wow, do not do the toothpaste on the phone screen thing. Tooth paste can help make a cd/dvd work when it is badly scratched because it is a micro abrasive, it sands down the outer layer to get to the unscratched lower layer. Cell phones have an oleophobic coating on them, this will take that right off and potentially make the screen more cloudy from micro abrasions.

Take your phone and with any other house items that have small cracks in it also. Make sure to put a heavy weight inside also wrapped around it with rubber band, with not scratching rags used normally for stainless steel. 1 is all you need and add a tbls of baby powder, baby powder fresh scent tho. make sure! Turn on your dryer for large hot loads so that the powder melts into the rag and gets into the grains of it. About 30 minutes and pull out you're items and let me know how it worked for you! Its truly amazing!
