Lucky man you to look great together.
Thanks man! appreciate that!
Watching your videos inspires me to get into the business. Wife doesn't want me to do it but I sure would like to jump in. I'm an older fella, 66, and waiting on her to retire in 4 yrs. What better way to make it go by. I like the tone and convenience of your experiences with Dan's. Ti.e will tell. Take care, be safe.
thank you Terry! it would be a way of letting the both of you travel and see the country after she retires. do it together! you are only required to do one load a month!
Dans upfitted my truck from bone stock to a very capable rv transporter!!! They are the best!!!!!
WE THINK SO TOO! Good job! And thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for your videos
Aww, thank you for watching our channel!
Spoke with Ryan today. Looking at a couple trucks 2moro. There is a 21 Ram at the local Chevy dealer. 36k miles. It's a ton dually so if I do that outfit I'll be in the CDL bracket. Ryan wants to hear from me after I look that over. They have a new chevy at 80k but I've heard bad things on the duramax injector systems. I'll have Dan's do the whole thing there.
Yep, we don't recommend the Chevy as we've have heard the same. That's exciting that you are moving forward! Ryan at Dan's is a really helpful and knowledgeable person, we love him and the whole Dan's crew, they really know their stuff..we were just in there this week! They are amazing. mention to Ryan, you were referred to them by the Transport Bandits! Lol!
Oh yeah...and you can see the mark left by Mr. Bones on the dry erase board in the back room where the restrooms are! It's still there from when we made the video! Lol!
Shew I thought y’all were trapped in Canada!! But wow your truck looks awesome! And I especially love that huge sleeper on that one truck 😍
Hey Jackie! nope, we been at home for the past week. but right before we came home, we went back to Newfoundland and that video ill edit next. thanks again for watching!
You guys did a great job gussing up Ol Gus he looks fantastic! And the functionality will be incredible! Keep em coming look forward to all your vids! Be safe guys
Thanks again for watching and commenting Sean! we really appreciate you!
@@TransportBandits Absolutely you guys are truly a inspiration!
Ohh, thank you for such a sweet comment!
I have to get an Aux tank, I hope that I will be able to in 2 weeks.
Tell them The Bandits said HI! That auxiliary tank is really going to make a difference in your happiness miles!
Got to say it was cool seeing my truck in the video. It was the Chevy that you pointed out the tool box on. I love going to Dan’s.
Oh wow!!!! Cool!! 😂
Another great video they do great work we had our fuel tank and hitch .mudflups done at Dan.s
We really do like Dan's, been satisfied with everything we've had done there!
Be careful with those fender flares. They cause lots of rust in salty environments. Enjoying the videos
Our truck fenders are aluminum and the flares are plastic, but the 2019 F350 aluminum leaves us with little worry about rust. So, we dont anticipate a problem there.
Oh yea, forgot that it’s aluminum. Dumb me…. They look real nice. Gus is looking good.
No problem! Most people forget about the aluminum body.
Thank you so much for watching, yep, I think Gus is lookin sharp, and this week we tweeked it with some maintenance that is giving us better fuel milage too! Yay!
@@TransportBandits better mpg is always good stay safe out there.
Thanks so much for recommending Dan's! My partner and I are just getting into transport and we're stopping at Dan's on our first run next week to get the rock guard for our rig. We can't find it anywhere in Canada! Your videos have been amazingly informative, helpful and entertaining for a couple of newbies. Maybe we'll see you on the road. Safe travels!
Oh my gosh!! Thank you so much!!! Tell Ryan at Dan's that you know us and influenced your decision to come there! They know us well there at Dan's! I am so happy that our silly videos are actually helping others get started in the business! You don't know what that means to us that you took the time to let us know that! You're starting a whole new exciting chapter! I wish you well and hope to meet you out on the road sometime!
Heck yeah! Awesome video. Dan’s is a great place to go for RV Transport. Y’all stay safe. FYI, another 5000 safe miles done.
Awesome!!! Thank you so much to you and Annie for putting our names down as referrals on the application! I hope you guys are still liking the adventure!
We gotta meet up sometime!
We still love it. And they pay is to do it.
@@TransportBandits Absolutely we have to meet up. I have a few more weeks to wrap some stuff up and then we will be wide open.
Only place I go!
smart man! I always tell everyone to go to Dan's..why go anywhere else?
I'm looking to get into this business
Call the different Indiana RV Transport companies and see who is hiring and there rates. Then fill out thier applications.
Can I give you guys my number
Dan's is probably the only place in town and their prices are probably really high because you have no choice but to use them
No, they have Dually Depot.
I will be taking my truck there getting it done up and ready Johnny Cash style if I have to one piece at a time LOL the wife and I will be getting into this in the near future doing it the same way you guys are pretty much bandit style 😂, would it be okay if I connect with you through Facebook have several questions I would like to ask your advice on CZcams did away with direct messaging been watching since the beginning awesome content keep up the good work
Awesome!!!! We definitely want to talk with you.
Hit me up on FB "Cheryll Arnold" or Instagram
@tranport_bandits to get your number or we'll give you ours so we can talk!
Speaking of Dan’s where’s Dan?
DAN is Ryan's father. He's an great gentleman and is around the Shop all the time, he also teaches everyone how to use the equipment they are purchasing..he wasn't there the day we were.
One other question. I was going to get onto Facebook to a forum revolving around the RV transport business. Any recommendations or stay right away facebook?
Yes!!!! Join RV Transporters Group...you can learn alot, but, always take everything with a grain of salt, as there are always people on there complaining or being snide, but, it's been invaluable to learn where we all are and road conditions and truck issues.. a it's really good..I'll see if I can invite you over to the group.
Do you know if they will inspect and certify a tank if you didn’t buy brand new from them. I bought a tank from a former transporter who originally bought it from them but the inspection plate wasn’t on it. I did have Dan install it but I didn’t know it had to be inspected at the time, so I never inquired about it. Also you mentioned Idaho is Idaho one of the only states that will look at that or is it every state?
Hey, yep I think Dan's will inspect it. And I just mentioned Idaho as an example...Any state, any DOT officer could pull you over in any and all states to do an inspection.
@@TransportBandits Oh boy I found something that they can’t do. Just my luck. A friend of mine who got out of transport sold me his 75 gallon Trax 3 tank and I had Dan’s install it. I never inquired about the DOT placard when I have them do that. But I just talk to them in they said that’s something they can’t do because it has to come from the manufacture from being tested at the factory. So I just contacted transfer flow in now I’m just waiting for your response.
Hey, sorry, I got a new phone, and I been busy setting it all up, so sorry for the delay in response.
I think that transfer Flow tanks are great and would go with that if that is what you'd like to do and Dan's can get that for you if they don't already have it. Check Dan's prices on those.
I mean, if transfer Flow can send you the sticker or verify that you actually have a Trax 3 and it's not damaged...call them for sure.
Maybe they can just send you a sticker for your tank
Looking good 👍 and do you know if they have a price list on fuel tanks
hey Ben! im not sure about a price "list", but, they can definitely quote you a price.
Been wondering where you kids have been.
We have had a busy past 2 weeks, after Dan's we made another trip to Newfoundland, took one to Ontario took one home and been doing truck maintenance and helped chris build a bed in the back of his truck..so, it slowed me down on editing videos...so, the next one will be that 2nd run up to Newfoundland which i should put up next week.
@@TransportBandits Just know that you both (& Mr. Bones) were missed.
Well, we been really busy and we been out there ,just couldn't find the time to get the editing done! We are at home now, and headed back to Goshen this Wednesday. I'm going to try and get this 2nd run to NL video edited and up this week.
I'm so done with Dan's.... spend a shit pile of money and few weeks later go in to spend more and get attitude like WTF? All i wanted was a box cover and the douche bag with the glasses behind the counter just stops communicating with me. I thought he was looking something up or something and gave him a chance to figure it out but he just basically walked away so bought it elsewhere. I like
Ryan but don't like tagging along behind him to talk to him. I liked Dually Depot the one time i was there until i heard the mechanic grabbing gears (manual trans) while bringing it around the front. Gotta be other shops in Elkhart area?????
Ryan is very busy, and sometimes, he may come off as "having an attitude " ..but, that quite, walking off thing.. is just that...He has alot of kettles in the fire, but, as we have gotten to know him, this is part for the course and once he gets a moment to talk with you, he really does mean the best for you to help you out.
You can do all that stuff on your own if you know how to turn a wrench. I bought all my stuff from other places, did it all in my garage in a day.
@@mikephillips5541 I do most of my own work as well but it was easier to just do the tank and tool box there as i wouldn't have to be hauling a huge tank and tool box around until i got it done. They mounted the tool box about a 1/2 inch too far back so the tail gate was hitting the lid and bending shit up so i had to move it forward. I mounted the new box cover my self easy peasy... LOL
Yep, we could've done it all ourself, we work on cars and bikes all the time. Because, most the time we are short on time, we just like the convenience of taking it up and letting the professionals at Dan's do it all. We were actually between loads and got all that put on in one day..otherwise we would've had to make a run home, and those Fender Flares would've taken a week to put on ourselves..they were quite the hard case to put on!
@@TransportBandits it's extremely hard to hire good people for sure. I've talked to all of them as some point or another including Dan but the dude with the glasses is always very indifferent about whether or not he wants to talk to you. I'm sure he's tired of answering stupid questions but....
