yes you should make a new list in controller and add the details you want to display from the Event model and then send that list to the ajax call rather then sending the list from the model itself. Hope this can help you!! :)

here in my example the '/home' refer to home controller. if you want to refer a different project that might have different url for that project right? if yes, in this case, you have to provide full URL and also you have to allow cross-origin request.

I fixed this problem this way: check the spelling of calendar (versus calender) and make sure the div id matches the jQuery reference to it $('#calendar')

I think the database is in the application itself. I would set up a database server and get the app connected to it.
