I`ve been wearing my black and white pair of turbowpns almost everyday since they realeased and they still look really good. Just a tiny amount of creasing on the toebox and a little bit of heel drag on the back of the soles but I think they might hold you longer then a pair of ramones or geos becuase those soles wear off quiet quickly
right? their super durable, even though i treat mine like beaters after a wipe their as good as new. Their pretty comfortable too, only downside is the weight, but you get used to it.
First I thought Geobaskets were heavy, then I thought my Mastodons were heavy, then I wore the double bumper 18oz denim ramones, and the rest felt light. It's really just getting used to it.
Great video I copped the same pair and ended up using a seam ripper and taking off the giant tag on the tongue… it’s a much cleaner look in my opinion without the giant converse branding.
Thanks! I love the shoe, I can understand you aren't very fond of the big branding. It's something I tend to dislike too, specially since Hood by Air haha..
I've been thinking hard between the two pairs, chose the bordeaux or "clay" ones. They come with addititonal black laces, the colour contrast between the upper part and the sole is less noticeble, the converse x darkshadow tag blends in with the tongue. Both options are solid, overall the clay pair fits more with my wardrobe, it is more "silent". That said, my wardrobe consists mostly of less avant-garde clothing than Rick Owens.
I also dont really know about the clay ones...would love to see them in hand because all the photos look completly differnt somehow. I might just order them and see if I like them. Got the cream ones already and they are amazing!
I ended up just buying both clay and egret And I actually don’t like em as much in irl Prob won’t wear em anytime soon But great entry level sneakers for the vamp zoomers

@@roydevriess converse is owned by Nike and in the usa these were released on the SNKRs app and Nike handled the release. It was a flash drop and most sizes sold out instantly in the Egret color here…

These are the heaviest shoes I have ever bought. I hadn’t seen anything this heavy before.

i Haven't gotten mine yet. But blue color in the raw edges of leather is normal for chrome-tanned leather there is nothing wrong with it.

Hi Jayson, I do have that with some other drkshdw items. Sometimes even the trousers have blue denim sides.

Yeah bought two but they canceled one so I had to go to Ricks website to buy another pair.
The unboxing experience with Rick was on another level than Nike.
