My headcannon is that Zurg is an alternate version of Buzz, just like he is in Lightyear. The reason why toy Zurg tells toy Buzz "I am your father" is because he doesn't know about his own movie. He saw Star Wars and thought that was his movie because Darth Vader looks a lot like him. He's just confused 😂
The whole time travel plan fell apart when there wasn't any paradox after the Future Buzz told the past Buzz about the plan. Future buzz already realize that his actions would just create a new timeline that wouldnt destroy the old. So after that the conflict didn't really matter, it was just to redeem Buzz's character from being egocentric to a hero.
To quote “How it should have ended endgame” “that’s not how time travel works.”

I do agree that a cat is the best character in a movie or tv series because cats are amazing animals and just awesome to see 😻😻😽❤️💕💖💯

No, because he wouldn't have learned the error of his ways if his future self didn't attack the city. He wouldn't even be with the group if it wasn’t for his future selfish interference. Just watch Avengers: Endgame, they explain it very well.
@@ScofieldStudios _Avengers: Endgame_ isn't the end-all be-all of time travel. Time travel has different rules across fiction. Also whle I understand the time travel Endgame did not explain it very well
That being said, this movie fluctuates in the time travel. it acts like a branched timeline/multiverse, because Old Buzz is able to go back and co-exist with Young Buzz, tell him of his future & specifically mention that their two histories are different. So a variant situation. Yet Old Buzz talks about going back in time & making it so that this current timeline wouldn't exist.
You can't have it both ways, movie. Either it's one timeline that can get rewritten (which means there can't be two Buzz's co-existing in the grand scheme) or there are multiple timelines (which is what the movie implies given the fact that Old Buzz says the "present" that "our Buzz" experiences is one he hadn't lived). So if there's multiversal branch timelines, then Old Buzz going back wouldn't erase "prime" Buzz's timeline or the people on the colony like Izzy.
He pointed out all the problems i had with the movie. The movie shouldve been named Buzz Kill Lightyear (pun intended, it's just so obvious)
Great to see your reactions. I always wonder how others would react to Ryan’s video, because he always make me laugh with these pitch meetings. I don’t think the movie was a cash grab though. It was too serious, too ambitious and mostly too far fetched. They should indeed have gone for a fun 90-ties space action flick with a good story, a huge adventure and a great WIN at the end. But Pixar went philosophical with this one.
Light-year sounds more fun this way in Pitch Meeting form than the actual movie

I still don't understand why they didn't have Tim Allen to come back to play the character. I actually think it would have made way more sense if they got him to at least play the old buzz. Because Chris Evans voice is supposed to be an imitation of Tim Allen's buzz lightyear.

3:56 there were a lot of people angry at this movie because of including a lesbian couple in a family-friendly film.

When you think about this movie makes no sense
I didn't see any of the toy story movies or the spinoffs of those movies because they didn't look really interesting enough to me.
Wow, I think this was the first time that I watched this channel without them pausing the youtube video they are watching. At least that made me focus on what the video they are watching the same time they do. Unlike when they just pause just because they can't hold their laugh about something.

The whole movie was bland but overall wasn’t something that would have been made in the 90s to sell kids toys.
Especially if somehow someone did make it, it would have been banned literally everywhere cuz of that 2 second gay scene. Gay rights is a relatively recent movement and was still widely shunned in the 90s
I disagree. I lived through the 90's as a young adult and there were popular movies, sitcoms, and even video games with same sex couples.

People are getting tired of it, it's happening the same thing that happened in the past in Rome.
Respect and acceptance is fine but oh no, we have to put that in a kids film, God help us if we don't check all the boxes!

Watched this a few times with my kids and I enjoyed it a lot more than those Toy Story films.

The movie was good as a Movie. All these Toy story crap is hard for me to grab. That was just a movie. Just watch the movie as a Buzz Lightyear movie. All these unnecessary discussions.. (not including Pitch Meeting) will just influence the writers and finally some shit load will come out like star war sequels. Just love or hate the movie. Leave the theories.
