Madden should be released every 2 years... They running out of reasons to justify the new purchase every year

I agree but the NFL would never allow it. Not just for the money but because it is another tool used to hype up each new season. They are just as much to blame as EA

Hopefully they can fix the bigger issues like broken tackles, receivers not adjusting to inaccurate passes, and progressive fatigue in franchise mode. Also getting rid of the zig routes is a very questionable decision
They really should've put that wear and tear system from cfb 25 in madden.
Yea getting rid of the Zig as a base hot route was dumb that was one of the only routes that would consistently beat pressed man

Wish it could be a situation where you can like pick a set 8 routes you can hot route, and you only get the full 12 with the ability

I feel like now that we have cfb25 they should focus on making madden a more realistic sim game and have college game be the arcade, juke, crazy abilities game.
They should just allow us to choose our routes in setting. I’d prefer keeping zig over having in and slant routes.
If they are going by realism it should be scheme/QB specific on which hot routes are available. A deep threat qb with a vertical scheme should have more deep routes than short routes at their disposal.

They should also figure out how to allow oc and dc adjustments in menu so you don’t have to do it once you enter the game. Can’t believe they haven’t done this yet.
@kuromi_3vil I agree with you too. I want full control. They must be worried about simulation stats or something. Either way it doesn’t matter too much if they leave zig in the original play. You’ll just need to have those routes as audibles and flip the play.

There will always be new tactics. The goal is to mitigate the cheesy stuff in the game.

It's going to be OP this year. No zig routes are gonna be big but maybe post & corner routes will be as good as ever.

@@koodigocrxzy465 this isn’t real football, though in the game code it’s a to op, only way to stop it is shade underneath well that just leaves streaks open for an easy touchdown

Yeah there's almost no point in trying to hit stick in CFB25. I've played over 50 games and I've only seen like 5 fumbles. But then I've heard of people who have 5 in one game so idk 😂
@@stephenschuster9929 I strictly tackle with A or X depending which console you have. I only miss tackles when I try to dive tackle.
@@stephenschuster9929strafe then hit-stick at the right angle, preferably head-on with the ballcarrier. Or catch the ballcarrier, coming off a broken tackle then use the same technique you’ll be golden . Works majority of the time for me.

You break too many tackles in that game and you barely lose stam from Jukes and spins. Judkins is a prime example

I always turn off the X factor abilities when I play franchise. Makes guys unstoppable smh
7:40 will say the switch stick in college definitely needs fixing cause like i notice in CFB25 u can only switch stick when the ball is in the air so like ill be trying to set up my defense and then the ball get snapped and and while its stil in the air on the snap sumtimes it switches me up to a safety without me even wanting to , then other times ill see something coming open and it wont let switch stick til the qb throws the ball and at that point its like i cant even catch up with the db
The switch stick is terrible. I still can't fully nail down how it works. It's so random when it will and won't switch.
Being able to hot route to post and flag routes is much better than having a zig route.
Especially being able to put any WR on those routes without them having to have some type of Route Apprentices ability.
We don’t need zigs that badly when the out route is always an option AND you can post or flag at any time
How can we look at madden 25 playbooks/ formations early before release?
Which is why I fw the beta so hard , the abilities didn’t feel busted they all felt balanced ash , especially how velocity works again , I used Matt staff he has 0 abilities but the ball came out good and smooth and got there, didn’t float.
Everything is always mostly smooth at launch for the most part don’t start bugging until the comp players start complaining then after the first patch it becomes non existent especially pass rush
EA never sent me my beta code so I'm hoping you're right. Looks like it could be a good year before late Madden happens & all the cheese comes out.
@kuromi_3vil they have it but it’s not that much of a difference this year , it’s really dependent on the QB throw power , but it still does help , just Staff still throws the ball good without it , remember previous years it would just float easier for it to be picked

EA is soooooo lucky 2K can't make football games it would've BEEN over for Madden just like NBA Live bit the dust. I really wish EA would have enough courage to just one year. Give us a update on the rosters. Maybe some easy downloadable features and take a year off from Madden so they can truly build it from the ground up. We've been playing the core game for the past 10 years it's ridiculous
yeah but is what it is man. we still gone buy and play madden 25 since its the only NFL game out there. lets just enjoy it best we can

Hit sticks has not been good for 2 years now. All of us who has played on madden know the runner will break that tackle every time. So you just have to go for a safe tackle which is annoying

You should reconsider. I played the beta, and this feels better from a gameplay standpoint than CFB25.
I believed you can import 32 custom teams so if you ever wanted to do a fantasy draft with a different league type then maybe I can see a reason if you’re tired of maddden
Does anyone know how passings gonna work? Cuz in madden 24 u couldn’t even pass short or deep in coverage and expect ur wr to even attempt to jump for the contested ball, the db would just jump and miss the wr. This was my biggest issue in madden 24, especially when WRs like Justin Jefferson and other elite WRs were getting mossed and picked off by average cbs, anyone else have this problem? 👍

Yeah abusing hit sticks is the worse and unrealistic. The players need to wrap up more than just hitting them all the time.

People are still going to be running the same plays regardless. Drags or crosses will always work still. It’s the people that do this stuff constantly that are more of the problem than this terrible game.

@Buckeye7Gaming People couldn't stop it because their wasn't much you could do. It beat everything, whether it was Man, Zone, or Biltz. It was a crutch for a lot of players, and I'm not sad to see it go.

1st get rid of CZcams because people be finding hella glitchy plays 2 take adjustments out of the game so you can’t mess with any plays you gotta actually learn the playbook and the plays in it to actually play real football 3 don’t allow people to run the same plays over and over again there ya go a perfect game no more CZcams players and their glitchy plays and adjustments perfect game before CZcams and social media everything was so much better you actually had to learn stuff from others and learn tricks you know to win games instead of putting it all on CZcams or in a ebook 👍
Madden is more fun without using Superstar abilities and Homefield advantage. Much better game play
