I found a postcard online that my grandmother wrote to her parents in 1920! She mentioned her baby (my aunt). My grandmother died before I was born but I knew my great grandparents very well. I was so excited to find the postcard. Her handwriting was just like my aunt and my mother's. The Palmer Method.
The little pixies with the flower hats, have got to be my fav of the day.
So cute!
Trains are always nice to watch and listen to.
The clickety clack, slow rythm is so relaxing.
As a kid, I lived on "the other side of the tracks" and would cross them to get to school or a friends house.
Once in a while, on a still summer's eve, I can hear a train horn in the distance, mingled with the sound of crickets chirping.
Jeffrey you always forget a cart, you silly goose.😄
That big red swung vase is called a nubby butt an will glow around the bottom an top under blacklight. They are amazing
I love this place. I could spend all day there. I thought of you yesterday while watching Michael's (The.Cult.of.Vintage) new video. He was at a Vintage & Antique Mall that had a whole Soda Shop set up in it...plus a vintage Drive-up Diner. 💖
Jeffrey: "Where did Aaron go?! Did he leave?! I just needed a basket.."
🤣🤣🤣
Aaron seemed to be in a mood today. It's better to edit and include him when he wants to. He wasn't feeling it today.
Hope they can deliver the paint to your actual address soon!!! Love the counter tops!!! Keep enhancing your home!!! Give Stella a hug for me!!!!❤
I am all about that beautiful art deco lady! (hope Aaron got some lunch).
Love that you see value in the scrapbooks…
OMG… THE MURANO MILAFIOREY “ I KNOW I SPELLED THAT WRONG “ BUT THAT LITTLE VASE IS GORGEOUS :)
Nice to see u and Aaron shopping together..u found some great things..
I almost spit my drink out when you said "crunchy bottom"!🤣🤣
...And, OMG! I love that Fenton Green Tree... It's just incredibly amazing how many different shapes and colors of glass they produced over the years....so much variety. 😁
I like the platter the postcards were on, I would have brought that home. I made a ceramic Christmas tree when I was a kid, just the size of the one you picked up. I wish I still had it! Thanks for another trip around that store, a fun place.
My iPad was overheating with you two cute guys on my screen! That is a very nice shop and you found some good items for your sales. Miss seeing Blondie (Barb) shopping with you but understand her family responsibilities. Thanks Blue Eyes!
Thank you Jeffrey for always educating us! You are so knowledgeable about antiques!
Particularly liked the scrap books and paper dolls.
One more comment I like finding out what you collect,,,I guessed Christmas type trees,,and now I see it’s true ,,the other is poodles and blue birds,,still watching episodes to find out,,I❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jeffrey, You got some great things today. Cool Antique Depot.....................
I have a large collection of ceramic Christmas trees. I can't resist them 🎄
Aaron smiling at the end, I think he enjoyed himself.
Totally cool,I liked the Santa Clause key. So many lovely things and beautiful furnishings as well.
Jeffrey your humor is great I just love it. The ceramic trees are just gorgeous!
Awesome! A gem in my hometown.
I love that little tree with the old plug it so cute I collect ceramic Christmas trees also.❣
The train depot was lovely inside. Such nice displays in most of the booths. You a bunch of great stuff.
When you said it was the Wabash Train Depot I couldn't help think of the song about the Wabash Cannonball.
the glitter houses we had a whole village it was my job every year at Christmas to set it up . we would get small lights and place them in each house ... always hated the holidays
You are hitting jack pot after jack pot.😁😀
I'm not the biggest clear glass fan but that Deco Lady is beautiful.
The safety pin Christmas tree was epic!
Tubby is a Monchichi!! I still get the theme song stuck in my head! .... "monchichi monchichi oh so soft & cuddly! With their thumb in their mouth their really sweet! Love to snuggle their little feet.... how I love my monchichi....."
Wow, that was so much fun. Just want to let you know, when you ask a question, I do answer you. Lol.
I’m watching all your episodes,,I love everything you do,,it’s taking me a minute to get use to your sister,,the man who likes trains he’s quiet so I dont mind him,,plus you don’t have to throw everything in your cart fast as with your sister she like the same stuff you do,,keep on working,! Love it all ,,I’m a new subscriber and I’m staying🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Another great video with you and Aaron y’all to crack me up it’s like Seeing me and my partner interacting with each other have a great weekend and a great sale tonight
What fun! I hope to get to that place one day when I'm older. I do enjoy your eclectic and changing interests. There was a time you would have snatched up that brown dripware cups and caddy. My only problem in a place like this I would spend 4 hours in one booth looking at each thing. Oh and! Thanks for the BONUS Aaron. :-D Perhaps he'll be your Vanna tomorrow?
Nice to see Aaron again. Morning you two.
“Crunchy bottom” 😂😂😂 The two ceramic Christmas trees were a terrific buy.
I know Aaron is probably thinking you need to move it along so he can eat!
I do enjoy this shop. You found some interesting different items. It was a fun day. ( yes Barb would love the vase)🤪
I would have bought the safety pin Christmas 🎄. It's so cute!
I’ve been obsessed with the troll dolls I would have grabbed that Barbie and looked at the bucket of trolls on the ground. I love the ones with gem Belly buttons!
I like the 2 blue vases. The postcards were great too!
You & Aaron always make me LOL with your banter. Great finds & great shop. TFS 💕
Good morning Jeffrey and Aaron. Those postcards are beautiful.
Those fish cups were great for shrimp cocktail but a bit pricey.
The pink glass elephant would sell easily. Those winter plates were beautiful. I myself love plates.
Oh man, you returned the hobo elves. I would have bid on those. Love them!
I really need to take a drive to Decatur, Illinois… I say that every time you film at this antique store. I could really do some damage to my checking account. All the swung glass and the amberina nubby butt floor vase.😍. Thanks so much for taking us along!!
Omg I want those owls 🦉
You have so many neat places!! I love tagging along with. Thank you
Loved the turkey cards!
How neat! That place is close enough to where I live that I could visit that shop! I'm putting it on my list. :)
LOVE the Bresmer's Paper Doll set. I bought clothes from there as a child. It was a Bougey store. Love your vids.
Amazing place and I just hate having a crunchy bottom😜
You could have given those elves a home. Next time to Illinois I need to stop there. It's just a slight detour. Yes Occupied Japan is more collectible. My dad occupied Japan. When he passed away I discovered he brought quite a bit home. I've collected it for 30 years. It's either pretty or ugly. Luckily it isn't very expensive.
You went for the unicorn paper weight in your favorite booth. I thought you were going for the Big Pink Flamingo 🦩 right behind the unicorn 🦄
Currently, there is a scandal involving the bust of Queen Nefertiti residing in the Louvre. There has been a discovery of a bust manufacturing company in Egypt from around the same time as Nefertiti lived. The archeogist for several busts in various stages of production including Nefertiti. Everything about the bust, looked exactly like the museum version, making this one of a kind theory go out the window.
Daniel.. That’s amazing news!!
😂🤣😂🤣🤣
You dropped a light when you picked up the tree 🌲
You keep being you. Buy whatever you want! 💕
I hope you got the safety pin Christmas tree!!!...it is cool!!
Hey Jeffrey and friends!! Love that tree at 19:35 great buy!!
I was born in Decatur Illinois! I remember taking a train one time from Decatur to Shelbyville when I was very young. It might have been from that depot!
Love Egyptian stuff!!!💙💙💙💚💚💚💚💙💙💙💙
So many nice things! Thanks for sharing
Got some great things as always. Have a great day Jeffrey and Aaron. Did you ever finish your shop painting on outside? Love to see pics.
You should always pick a wild card while your exploring… you never know!
You always make me smile when I watch your videos. Where are you located? I'm in st louis.
Thanks for the wonderful content
You guys have the best prices!
Aaron cracks me up!
The poem collection was made during WWII. Maybe to help the person who collected cope with the struggles of the times. You may gain a higher profit marketing and selling on eBay. Thanksgiving postcards, especially that include American flag also sell very well on eBay. You got a fantastic deal at the perfect time to resell them.
Great! Enjoyed!
Great finds!
That was a great video Jeffrey.
You found some nice items for sure!!
...and that optic stretch glass vase would make an excellent Christmas gift for Barb. It's Epic!!!! Does she have bow picture window in her house. It would look great sitting in front of a big window.
I really wish you guy's where here in Australia I would love to learn off you all
