Did it work out?
@@Dact3 Yeah! Most of the stem cuttings I took started growing, and the cuttings that were together in one pot grew faster and stronger. I should have waited a bit longer with some of the stem parts to dry, because later some of them started rotting from the side that was in the soil. :)
@@kristinnu at what temperature did they grew ?
@@matousabderrahmane1162 it took very long time for some of them to sprout, but i was growing them inside so room temperature on a SW windowsill, partial sun
Wow it was nice to see the comparison roots.

@edna maclaine, Thank you So So much :-)
Thank you..
Thank you
How do you know which end is the top of the pieces you cut and place in soil to root? Thank you.
That's my question too
You pay attention when you cut them lmao, have the bottoms point towards your belly when cutting.
If you happen to forget which way is bottom you can place them in the soil sideways, and leave a little of the stem protruding out.. figured I’d leave some useful advice instead of an asinine comment..
Watch carefully the direction of the leaf scars.
Thank you so much
Hi thank you. Big help! I do exactly the same with your instruction and i produce the same result!!! Pls have some more tips:)
Became a subscriber. My plant 🪴 is turning yellow with brown tips. Hoping this method gets my plant beautiful and full again.

@Gaurav Gurung, You are most welcome and thank you so much for watching :-)
Wow amazing
Thank you so much for your video...I have never had a dumb cane before and moved into a house that came w/2 different kinds. I live in FL and so the weather is perfect to grow them year round outside, as I cannot have them indoors as I have furbabies. Well, last year they did fine however this year our temps got almost to freezing which is rare for SWFL and it killed my dumb cane. I did not know that the cold would do this. I have been trying almost everything to bring them back to life and was ready to throw them away UNTIL I thought to myself I wonder if I can propagate theses even though the cold killed the root system? Sure enough I looked on CZcams and found you, well I saw a couple of videos but NONE were as explanatory and as complete IMO as yours was!! Once again thank you. I've already done the glass container and have some rooting and am now getting ready to put some clippings/stems in soil. I am not sure if am able to add photos however I did hit subscribe and I liked your video. Be blessed friend 🪴😁😺
Really amazing
@Kuldeep Singh, Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much :-)
