He composed this song on 1981 nearly 40 years ago , this young girl singing on 2020 , i am sure her daughter will also sing when she will get 20 years of age , so what i say Maestro will live many generation that is Raja's musical magic , he is a real; legend and he is a god gift for us.

All artists done a great job. I saw the film in swastik theater banglore some time in 1981. I was bit late and when i entered the hall,this song was playing. I could feel the entire hall vibrating with Raja sirs initial guitar cords. This film put Raja sir at the top position as a music director which was hither to ruled by MSV. Raja sir like the legendary RD burman uses strings, drums and brass to blend nicely with the song and to have maximum hearing enjoyment

Such an amazing and tough song to perform. The instrumentalists were all on point and the singers did a great job. Undoubtedly the bassist was the best man on stage, and yet we see only glimpses of him performing. Indian music industry has always neglected bassists and the value they add to the song. Also musician credits to all the instrumentalist on stage has to be mandated, in the song description. There are plenty of world class musicians who are out of the limelight and fail to get the recognition and praise they deserve. Yes the singers are the stars, but only because of the world class musicians accompanying them. @Gerard sir you are an amazing bass player and an inspiration,I've been following you're channel closely. I was searching for the bassist performing on this video and I was happy and relieved you were the one!

Fantastic rendition. I have watched the N&G video from the Madurai live performance by Isaignani himself with Swetha Menon as the lead singer. This one even beats that in terms of cohesiveness, I think mainly due to the drummer here. Hats off to him.

What a peppy song and still enjoyable today. What a timeless composition not to mention all the black magic happening with the bass, guitar effects, spontaneous belching of ragaas etc... But the players did awesome. Kudos to everybody. Singer needs to watch her variations, luckily didn't overdo it!

The bass guitarist should have been shown more on this song cos the base is so intricate, with the drums. Although the vocalist was good,she hasn't captured some of the expressions of S.Janaki.

Sooo...soo very true abt the bass guitarist...i thot exactly the same n u hv said it...the bass guitar n drums r the main pillars of this song...any band attempting this song, first requirement is they need a solid drummer n bass guitarist...otherwise it will be a failure...disappointed that bass guitarist was only shown once in the whole video, when he is the one doing the amazing stuff on the bass so well...
