I clicked so fast, I finished the book in 3 days cuz I couldn't put it down. Great read!
I had the same read time, lol.
Popping in a month later to say I ALSO had the same experience lol. Absolutely could not stop reading this book!
yesss such a good one
6:36 This was one of my favorite parts of the books. The way it explored just how senseless death can be was very effective. One minute you're rock climbing with some annoying colleague and the next you're standing over their corpse in complete shock and confusion.
I JUST finished reading the book, it’s *really* good, definitely up there with my other favorite Star Wars novels.
Iskat is now without a doubt one of my new favorite characters
That “writing violent women” comment was some good full circle stuff!
What the? Did they fire Louisiana Beauregard already?
Ya! What gives!
I jumped up and down when she revealed her number!! It’s a perfect number for Iskat!
I’m hoping to get another inquisitor book and I would LOVE for Delilah to write it! Dammit she’s good!! It felt so real!
I finished the book yesterday and it was so good. The Inquisitors are really expanded now.
It was a fantastic read! Finished it in a day. Very hard to put down and one of my personal favorites
Book really highlights how bad the sequel era Jedi were at dealing with "emotional" people. Only reason Anakin got away with so much of his nonsense was because Obi-won was there, Palpatine was looking out for him and him being the Chosen One.
I waited to watch this until I finished and today is that day. I got major Autism vibes from her (I'm also Autistic) but I never thought that was on purpose. So well done
Best Star Wars book I’ve read in so long!!
Finished the book today! Can't say its my favorite, but its definitely not horrible and I really liked the world-building aspect of the book the most. Thule, Order 66, the Selothian, and the Vader arcs were all my favorite parts. Iskat was an interesting character and viewing the Jedi Order through her eyes made it that much more entertaining. Overall, a 7/10, the only Star Wars book I finished over the course of two days other than Thrawn. Kudos to you Miss Dawson, I hope you get to write more stories for the franchise in the future!
Great interview.
Wickedly talented author. Loved the book.
i wanna marry her
She Is Pretty 😍😍😍
I remember being...confused when this was announced, wondering why they decided to dedicate a whole book to one of the unnamed Inquisitors Vader killed in the comics, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it.
Not only that but how much I liked Iskat as a character and her story, even if I already knew the path she was going down and...where it eventually lead. Actually made me sad when I got to the epilogue and realized they were retelling her and Tualon's fate from the comics, even if I knew it was going to happen.
I have not read it yet.
I did read a story that this book discloses that Aayla Secura, a Twi'lek, and, my favorite Jedi, was the master of the Seventh Sister, a Mirulan.
I thought Mirulan padawans could only be taught by Mirulan masters, e.g., Barriss Offee and Luminara Unduli.
If this is explained in book, I apologize.
Thanks.
where is it said miralians only train each other?
@@sirensongss, it was in a podcast by a Star Wars pundit. I don't recall which one.
I just found something that said Mirialans were compelled to teach Mirialan padawans. But could choose other races if that Master wanted to.
Maybe they had more Mirialan younglings than masters/knights that year?
👍
first
so will Iskat Akaris turn out to be Marrok
