tip when guiding moths in general: new players can’t see the seasonal spirits until they’ve done eden

No wonder I haven't seen them, I unlocked the Eye of Eden a while ago, I still haven't done it though.
Just introduced my bestie to sky. When we where in wasteland i lost her panicked a lot aggressively honking and running around looking for her while krill chasing after me😭. And she was sitting in some hole waiting patiently for me 😂

I wish I could get my brother to play, but he keeps saying “you’ve been playing this since like 2021 haven’t you beat it” so I know how little this beautiful world would mean to him anyways. He only sees games as.. well, games, with an end. This is Sky.
That is such a shame. I absolutely love games that have a story and are meant to actually teach you something. Hopefully he will realise this later

My spouse and I have played for quite a long time, and I remember how much samctuary confused her sweet mind as I would audibly spout cursed things and charge at wing lights.
Hahahaha I introduced my mom to the game and she loves to run around and take my hand for me to take her flying, it's so cute

Oh no 😂, mind telling me what happens if she reached GW? The first time I went to GW I'm stuck between the platform with wl and the dark water, and I'm terrified to look around 😂. I end up uninstall the game. After watching a sky let's play I decided to try it again. 6 months playing I'm still not brave enough to play tags with the krills 😅

@@angeltheweirdo Oh, she did today hahaha she panicked, first sight of the krill, she asked what that was, I told her to stay still and the krill spot her, hahaha she got nervous, tried to fly away which made it hard for me to reach her hahaha but I finally grabbed her hand and found a pillar to hide.
It's safe to say she hates the idea of reliving the spirits there, so I'll give her a hand next time hahaha
I really really love moths however I must always fight my demons pushing me to help them at everything. Its best to let them explore and roam the map or let them fly anywhere because thats the magic of the game, that's basically the point of Sky (besides, its entertaining to watch them haha) otherwise they're getting spoiled. I don't usually ask for their hand (I instead hold theirs like a maniac lol).
As a previous moth, roaming around the map gave me a sense of freedom, and everytime I discover something new, it always gives me that sense of accomplishment and amazement. Having a moth friend during this times makes things 100x amazing (that why moths are unconciously attracted to other moths). Help them preserve the feeling of discovery otherwise they'll get rapidly bored out of the game. You'll never see their constellation lit up again.
I usually only offer to fly them if it’s somewhere they’re really struggling to reach on their own- like, I met one outside of Daylight temple who was sat on the bench looking for help climbing the temple and that’s something most non-moths can probably provide. Otherwise it’s much more fun to hold hands and follow 😂
I introduced my sister into sky, and I made her drag me around instead. It was great to see her fail at flying around XD
1:25 haha the seasonal spirit was probably not even visible to him. new players can only see the original spirits first that weren't a part of any season.
I introduced my little brother to sky just before the current season, and his favorite thing to do is run around on the ice at home space. I still haven’t told him it will melt probably by the next update…😅
I saw a moth this morning who kept running on ice and trying to leave home island by flying away he draged me multiple times and did the same thing over and over again could it possibly be your brother 😭😭😭?
@@roxy.l0s3r._.17 omg, probably, he never tells me when he plays. He also likes to fly around home space and use the butterflies to skyrocket himself. He’ll sit in prairie for like 20 mins just messing around 😂

My friend tried the game and on her first day we travelled around Sky to get most of her winged lights. Ngl, I somewhat regretted it, not because she's a bad player or anything like that, it's because it feels like I spoiled her too much on the content of the game.
I wish she also experienced on exploring on her own and learning things on her own and then I can come in and open more content for her. That's what happened to me actually and that opened my eyes again to the game that there's actually more than what I've already experienced.
Either way she loved the game and causally playing it on her own time.

Fwiw when introducing my sister I found it useful to follow her instead, except when she specifically saw something that was a pain to get to with only a few wings (that island in dawn, the exit from sanctuary…) but that only worked because I was fast enough to follow her and had enough wings to be “magic” (11 lets you get most places, turns out lol… that extra run for the eden wl is worth it)
Got to let him experience and explore on his own. Handholding is great and all but then you are just pulling him around without letting him see what is out there for himself.
Don’t worry, the game is very special to me so I did let him do lots of things on his own I made sure of that 😊
Ah yes the joy being a moth 😌. I don't have anyone to adopt me when I'm a moth, so I understand how ur brother's feels. It's always fun playing around and finding new secrets. I found the entrance of wind path because I saw the cloud suspiciously looks like a tunnel, I didn't know that each map has a season area that time 😊.

A friend recently introduced me to Sky and most of VC was of me screaming about the camera angle and crashing. Although I gave her a huge panick when I went solo and let a rando lead me from Valley of Triumph through the Wastelands and eventually Eden. When I panick left Eden I remember saying to her: "WHY IS THERE SCARY. WHY IS THIS GAME SCARY?"
My younger sister introduced me to sky so she'd have a player 2 to help in doors, trade hearts, and recharge. Her nickname for me is powerbank hahaha

My brother saw the game while I was playing, he asked about theg game and he really love the graphics, but I don't think I need to teach him anything because he is 8 years older than me and he is a master of such games.

Just last night I introduced my best friend to Sky and she adored it, we explored some but mostly was fetching winged light and some spirits. I wanted to make sure she got to Eden before it got too late in the night. We got through it, she was able to get the hairstyle she wanted (needed ascended candles) and we ended it at 2:30am lol. We played for about 8 hours straight and she loves the game. We were cracking up with all the moths she met and I kept getting them confused with her since they all looked the same. She's going to introduce her boyfriend to it too!
